“Found this little place while we were out venturing on a Sunday funday. Awesome atmosphere and great food for sure. They had a good food truck serving burgers, sandwiches, and wraps.Only Con is the bartender not very friendly didn’t catch her name but she was a red head girl. She felt the need to come out while me i was waiting in the patio with my dogs for my fiancé to finish using the rest room and told me to bring my dirty dishes back in as if i wanted to leave my trash everywhere on the table. Was completely uncalled for.”

“Cute store/cafe/music venue in the heart of small town Floyd. I liked the key lime pie, and I also bought some jam and bar soap for gifts. The employees were friendly, food and drip coffee were decent, and prices were reasonable. Enjoyed my visit, and the live music was a nice bonus!”

“First time stopping here and I am pleased with the food and service. I ordered the blue cheese burger and was not disappointed, the sweet potato waffle fries left more to be desired unfortunately. My waitress was very kind and the speed of my meal being ready was perfect. I may return and try something else!”

“Always a treat for us to eat at Dogtown. They have the best wings. The cook keeps them traditional with no breading. Just deep fried with a delicious sauce. Pizza is amazing too. Excellent selection of beverages.”

The pastries we purchased, however, where like a rock, even tried warming it up, it was hardly edible-so disappointed! Maybe we will give it one more try before moving onto another spot!”

“Eaten here a few times. This place is great. There has only ever been one person working when we’ve been there and there’s always a line so orders can take a few minutes. No big whoop, though, as we’re just typically getting some bbq and drinks on a Sunday before heading over to open mic. Chill place, nice people, good food, creative menu.”

“As an out of towner, I was skeptical to come here after reading all the negative reviews. However I had a good experience; people were friendly and my burger/fries were hot and fresh. Only complaint is that the wait to get my order was a little long compared to the expected fast food wait times, but I wouldn't consider it enough to lower the overall rating.”

“Amazing place to get away. I had a short stay but packed a lot in — I was able to hike, have a nice dinner, take in the scenery on the blue ridge and enjoy the cool mountain weather. New owners are terrific hosts and putting their personal touches on the place (including renovations). This place is a gem. Can’t wait to explore more the next time we come through. Definitely worth the drive from DC!”
