Great restaurant. Recommend this place. Very good food and decent prices. Went in during happy hour so splurged and sampled many menu items. Tried the spicy cheese curds. I really liked them. Didn’t find them to be spicy. Tried the fried pickles and they were good. Really liked the accompanying sauce. Pickles were nice and crisp too. Had the prairie fire burger with bison meat. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Left very full and satisfied.I always drive by and looked at the exterior and knew I wanted to try this place. Finally did and am so glad. Will definitely be back.

Overall was pretty disappointing. Our waitress was nice, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was good. It did take over 20 minutes for them to bring out a beer that I had ordered, and the food was not great. I had ordered a burger and asked for it with a little pink but when I got it the burger was overcooked. No pink and somehow the burger was simultaneously the greasiest burger I've ever held on the outside, while being the driest burger I've ever had on the inside. The nachos we ordered were covered in so much cheese... Which doesn't sound like a bad thing until you actually start eating it and realize just how much cheese there really is, like there had to have been more cheese than nacho at that point. It was an interesting place to pop by once but I don't think I would ever come back.

My wife and I decided to stop in for a lunch at Cowboy’s as we have ordered take out in the past that was really good. Upon our arrival in the early afternoon we weren’t greeted by a hostess and once we did take a booth our soon to be unpleasant waitress barely spoke to us and it took her roughly 15 mins to even offer us water which the bartender had to step in to do.The food was blah, salty, and maybe a temp above warm. We continually had litter service so the bartender kept having to come over and bring us soda’s and in my case a small old fashioned. I will say that it wasn’t just us who experienced this bad service but anyone who our waitress was serving. I thought hey we all have bad days so let me still tip 15% but I will reach out to management to let them know but after 90 days I have still not received even an email, phone call or any other communication back.If you goal is to come here just sit at the bar and head out. One last thing is the daily specials aren’t available for takeout but they also were out of the daily special for being there. Before I forget I ordered a salad a sim please Caesar and not only did it never arrive I was still charged for it and had to tell the waitress who had an attitude about removing it from our bill.Overall I would say this location is at best a D+ but trending to an F and the corporation that owns then needs to fix it asap.
The food is really good. We came with some local friends and this was a blast to visit. It does get a little bit more rowdy as the sun goes down, so if bring children, just be aware.

This is my favorite hang out spot in Fredericksburg. My best friend and I love sitting outside on the deck. The food is great! I love the sirloin steak salad and blue cheese dressing. I'm a bleu cheese dressing snob. It has to be fresh. I LOVE their bleu cheese dressing. They also have this cornbread skillet appetizer. The cornbread is so moist. It's awesome. Never had cornbread this good.Go and you won't be disappointed.

Best Happy Hour in town hands down. Great prices on beverages and half price apps. Food is usually pretty good but they use braised chicken in a couple of the items, which is seriously lacking in flavor. Their southwest quesadilla with chicken was flavorless and disappointing. I can't imagine paying regular menu price for it and not complaining to someone. Still a very good place to hang out great atmosphere and friendly folks, staff and clientele alike. The only thing I advise is that people with families get on out of there as early in the evening as possible as the place gets overly hormonally charged after dark to be family friendly.
