We had a fantastic meal at Deutschland Downtown. Had a warm pretzel for our appetizer and loved it. We ordered Jager Schnitzel and schnitzel with lemon. Huge portions of authentic deliciousness.Our server Katherine was a delight, professional and perfectly attentive. The bartender was really fun.Everyone made our experience very special .. oh and amazing cheese cake for dessert.

We've been a few times and have forgotten to do a review. It's one of my favorite area German restaurants. I wanted a Kolsch beer, so we headed over today and it did not disappoint. I have not tried anything that I didn’t think was amazing.There are so many variations in German cooking , but I really like their style and choices as it's very close to what I grew up eating.Looking forward to the courtyard area opening up as well.Great service every time!

Have to say, service was awesome. Our waitress was super friendly and checked on us often. Some of the seating is a little close but overall atmosphere was nice. Prices seemed a bit high to me, especially for the wurst plate. Taste was good, but the Currywurst wasn’t what I was expecting. The cheese Spätzle was great though and I’d definitely recommend it.

It's not a place I would recommend. Ordered the Goulash special, and it was awful. Had a weird minty taste that was just not good. The wife had a schnitzel, and while the meat was ok, not great, the sides were not very good, and they were salty. We've tried this place before, and it was never exceptional, it was at least decent until today. I think I have made my last visit here. Service was ok, but poor lady helping us could use some help.

The Food was Incredible Ray our Server was Fantastic The Atmosphere was Wúnderbar Really!!! Starter, two slightly sweet Rieslings One Seasonal Stroganoff rich & delicious, and one Goulash hearty with just a hint of spice, both poured over a bed of light and tasty Spätzle. Fresh zucchini and homemade red cabbage sides that I could have made a meal of all by themselves. Topped off with Apple Strudel and a ball of Hazelnut Ice cream and a chilled Apple Schnaps chaser. Oh, did I mention the platter-size Hot Bavarian Pretzel to go... A Happy Valentine's Day Surprise

Best German food this side of the Atlantic. Had the rouladen and my mom had the osso buco. Wow! Both awesome. Waitress was fun and very attentive. Paulener on tap. Can't get better. Cute place close to downtown area.
