I can't rate the atmosphere , winter storm was inbound, patio was closed. I had my dog. Service was a little slow to serve me but once other was placed, everything else flowed. Top notch Buffalo chicken

Waited 15 minutes and never heard a word from the host/hostess to be seated with a couple of open tables. Finally decided to go somewhere else. Wanted to like the place.

If you want cardiovascular disease and to pay for overpriced mediocre food eat there. Coffee was good. All the food was covered in butter and oil and not even good. My kids didn’t eat any of the pancakes, spit out the biscuit, gravy is rosemary flavored oily soup, omelet ingredients are inside the folded egg and not mixed in and sitting in oil on the plate, toast is drenched in oil. The majority of the breakfast entrees are $12-$18 each and don’t come with a side to add a side is an additional $3-$5. Nothing healthy there! Just not the place for me. I recommend 2400 Diner, Cracker Barrel, Mercantile (Foode), for breakfast/ brunch. I would like to check out Park Lane Tavern’s Sunday brunch. Thanks

Worth the wait! The cafe opens at 9:00 and when we arrived at 9:30 there was a line out the door. The staff does an incredible job seating people quickly. The staff was delightful and the food was WOW. Large portions and lots of flavor. I personally appreciated the extensive gluten free options, including bread, waffles, and pancakes, that were delicious.Dietary restrictions: A lot of gluten free options including gluten free fried chicken and waffles.

This was a fantastic pitstop for us on a long drive. Pretty close off the highway. Really creative and delicious menu with lots of options. The service is excellent and food quick. My wife and I had curried deviled eggs (amazing). Sweet potato tater tots cooked to perfection. I also had the keto breakfast with guacamole, keto toast, scrambled eggs with homemade pimento cheese. Yum. Lord have mercy everything was A plus. This is definitely gone on our list of restaurants we pass through again.

We were looking for a breakfast place and lucked into finding The Mason Dixon Cafe. The building is where the first Hardees was and repurposed. It was extremely clean and well organized. The hostess was very welcoming, and our server, Lorraine, was fabulous. The food was incredible. We had the egg, bacon, cheese sandwiches on a croissant with homefries. Very generous portions. We saw other food being served, which was so enticing, pancakes an inch thick, a breakfast burrito, and omlettes. A great find!!

This is a standard breakfast place. I don’t know any Fredericksburg locals that go here much, there are better places. But if they’re not busy, and you’re hungry, it’s good food. Definitely overhyped though.

Phenomenal dining experience every time my fiancée and I have been. Local, friendly, unassuming atmosphere with clean and inviting seating options. The food is great for post-church brunch or a celebratory meal, you’ll never leave unsatisfied. I recommend Mason-Dixon to everyone that passes through the Fredericksburg area! Just make sure you put yourself in the queue online before showing up in person, or you may be in for a (well-worth it) wait.

One of our favorite spots to visit when we’re in town. The food is ALWAYS amazing and the staff is so pleasant, helpful, and attentive. If you’re in search of a tasty hearty breakfast/brunch, this is definitely the spot for you!

The food is amazing! Gluten free chicken and waffles!! Tons of gluten free, dairy free and keto friendly choices. If you are in the area eat here at least once! I'd recommend twice!!!

The best chicken tenders EVER! The service is 5 star. The pancakes and waffles were the best! My hubby tried the meat loaf and really enjoyed it. We are definitely going back.
