I cannot say enough about Mission BBQ Fredericksburg and their staff! Mission BBQ catered my military retirement ceremony/vow renewal for 120 guests. It made for a great event and it was a phenomenal experience. They were even nice enough to bring the big truck out for the kids to see. Renee Orange was super accommodating and responsive and removed all of the stress from the catering process and ensured that everything went off perfectly. I cannot recommend Mission BBQ and their staff enough for any event that you may be considering catering. Thank you again so much, you have truly made us lifelong customers and we look forward to future visits to your establishment!

On average, nothing distinguishes this location from other chain BBQ restaurants. I had the Black Plate special, the shrimp, baked beans with brisket, and a 3rd item. The shrimp were ok, nothing spectacular or memorable, and the baked beans were consistent. If you're hungry or just need a break from the norm, it's a nice location with decent service.

I have been to several Mission BBQ's across the nation and have never been disappointed. I am not saying that they are the world greatest BBQ, but they have been consistently good and always a safe bet.The Fredericksburg location didn't disappoint today. The wife and I shared the Smoked Cheese Burger, Baby Back Ribs, BBQ Glazed Shrimp, and a couple of sides. The Smoked Cheese Burger was my favorite item tonight. It was cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. Baby Back Ribs fell right off the bone and were good. The BBQ Glazed Shrimp is the current Black Plate Special and they were amazing. I recommend giving the shrimp a go while they are available.I wish I had taken a picture before we dove in, but I was pretty hungry and didn't think about it until afterward.
Best BBQ I’ve had in DMV so far. Chicken and Brisket were both very good. Actually, the moist brisket was fantastic. Slaw was decent. Not a huge fan of the BBQ beans, but that is preference as I like them a little thinner. Definitely a stop again if in the area.
I ordered for Christmas eve dinner - pulled pork by the pound, mac n cheese, beans, rolls. Everything was delicious. The way it was all packed up for travel home was pretty amazing.
