My first time at waffle house was a success ? . The service was quick and got my food fairly quickly. The only gripe was I didn't get my "smothered and covered " part to my food. Other than that we were in and out and experienced the typical diner experience.
There's one major hole, a gap of you will, out here in West Texas and the borderlands: we don't have Waffle House! I get it, it isn't really the market for it (we basically life in Mexico), but dang it is still technically Texas! Give us a dang Waffle House! As you've already discovered, it's a soar subject with a lot of us West Texans. So, suit and tie it sweats, any time I'm anywhere for more than 2 days that's has a Waffle House - we are going.
