“Fantastic food. This is my new favorite in town, maybe anywhere. Homemade tortillas and incredible flavors. Everything is authentic. It's a little bit hard to find of you don't know if it's there because it is parked next to a building and is dark at night. They have outside lighting which is actually really nice when you are there, but a little hard to see from the road if you are not looking for it. I know it's there so it doesn't bother me, but this place needs to get popular so go visit.“
“Wonderful and friendly service. Some of the best Mexican food I have ever had! I had the beef enchiladas and they were perfect. Flavorful, tender, right amount of cheese and sauce. Will definitely order those again. Really clean place and great lunch prices!“
“This is truly the best Mexican food in Harrisonburg. Everything is so fresh and delicious and the staff is always so nice and wonderful. This is my favorite place to get food. Please do yourself a favor and try this place out if you haven’t!“
“I drove by this place a couple months before I stopped. I shouldn't have waited. Both dishes I've had were fantastic. If you want some really good authentic Mexican tacos then you got to stop in here. * update: If you want authentic Mexican tacos come here first. They are so good.“
“My hands-down FAVE taco truck in Harrisonburg (they’re a-plenty). Been visiting this biz for years with my kids (who are now grown and insist on eating here when they’re in town)! Quick, flavorful, and a good value. Wonderful staff has been excellent at helping us explore the menu…Their version of verde sauce is crave-worthy (as in, drive me directly there from the airport crave-able… true story).“
“Solid local Mexican restaurant. Shrimp taco ($5) was very good. Chicken taco ($2.50) was very dry. Burrito ($9) was solid as well. Only a few tables had sauces on them, so be sure to ask for the sauces. All of the food is prepared fresh, and I had to wait ~8min for mine. 4 tables for sitting outside.“
“MAN their food is good! Love stopping in here when I'm not feeling like cooking for the night. Their service is always speedy and nice. The inside is small so I can see the restaurant getting full during lunch and dinner times...but it's worth the wait. My favorite Mexican restaurant in the Valley! I've heard their takeout is done really well too.“
“This Qdoba has been serving me my quesadillas for the past couple of weeks and they are the best. Quality of the food is great, low price, and service is always professional. My favorite is the cholula chicken, it’s a nice balance of sweet and spicy! Great place if you’re looking for some Mexican food!“
“Looking at the menu, it looks like Mexican kimbap heaven (there are too many to choose from), but they are very friendly and keep coming back to check if the food is good. And they serve chips and salsa before the meal, and it's delicious! There is a lot to eat. To be honest, the rice wasn't that great, but everything except the rice was delicious. If you look at the picture of the menu I ordered, I can't remember the name...“
“Our family enjoyed our food and customer service at Casa Gallardo. The staff did their best accommodating non-spanish speakers. It was our first time visiting this area and restaurant. What we liked the most was the vibe. The first wall painting my wife noticed was of Mexican Painter - Frida Kahlo. The restaurant space is perfect for family gatherings. There is plenty of parking and plenty of seating at the bar.“
“Really authentic Mexican food as we were the only non-Mexicans in this small restaurant. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The owner (I'm assuming she's the owner) is the hostess, the cashier, the waitress and the cook, and it is apparent she takes great pride in the restaurant and the food she prepares. There is nothing fancy about the interior or seating, and drinks are limited to cans of soft drinks and bottles of Mexican fruit drinks. No beer, no wine, but the good food will win you over.We will definitely be coming back when we're in this part of VA again!“
“Unassuming food truck on the north end of town, but man did the Tacos Campechanos blow my socks off! Came with two different sauces that just made it even better. Also got burritos that I warmed and ate the next day, just as good. Can’t wait to stop by again “
“Great central American restaurant. El Salvador, etc. Favored by Hispanic construction workers. My ratings are based on value for money, cleanliness, friendliness and quick service. The seating is good, not cramped. Nothing fancy about atmosphere. Kid friendly.“
“No issues at all. Clean, quiet, nice pool and breakfast. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. There is no elevator to the second level, but fortunately there were first floor rooms available. Several things to mention, the breakfast offers waffles, fruit, yogurt, real scrambled eggs, ham, sausage and more. The entire property is clean and updated, TVs are big, and the beds are Heavenly comfortable- we will definitely return.“
“We discovered this place while on a trip to Massanutten VA and were excited to check it out. Parking was a tad difficult, especially depending on what time you go, so be sure to give yourselves time to walk from the parking lots to the building. We were seated and our orders were taken quickly. It was a relaxed atmosphere with a younger crowd. They have many interesting flavors of margaritas. We tried the coconut and the blueberry basil margaritas, both of which were wonderful. We each tried three different tacos to get a few unique flavors. Unfortunately, we weren't overly impressed with the tacos. They were small and overpriced for the amount that you get. The seasoning wasn't quite up to par. However, there is a lot of potential in the concept, and the combinations sound great together (I love trying unique flavors). Maybe the chef was feeling off the day we went, so I am giving 4 stars for the tasty margaritas and potential for great unique tacos.“
“This food truck is actually located next to mi pueblito grill 2. They have the absolute best birria tacos for the price. Ive had birria from magnolias in downtown and I normally wait over a hour for 3 tacos and it’s like $15. Here you can get 4 birria tacos for $11 and it’s ready in under 5 minutes. I will definitely be returning here and this is also my first experience with eating at a food truck, and I’m absolutely mind blown by the time and taste/quality of the food. Everyone needs to eat here atleast once!“
“I grew up nearby on 41st and Woodland. It has been years since I've been in the area for food. I ordered one revuelta pupusa and small chicken soup. Both are awesome. I asked for pupusa to be cooked well done without hesitation they did...they called it tostada yes...yes...yes. just how I like it and the curtido and salsa the best. I stared how the lady did the pupusas...took me back to when my grandma did...later my mom finally learned how to make them. It's LA folks, don't expect anything else but LA style everything. I recommend. YES“
“I ordered pork torta and chicken quesidlla. Great prices and delicious food and awesome customer service. Very nice lady who took my order on the phone and when picking up my order I received my food from a very nice gentleman. Thank you for everything. My son referred this truck. He told me after a bad experience at a local truck he said "go to lunchbox, those people are so nice and food is good and prices are good also" he was right on with this truck ?“
