“This is the location that's in the shipping strip behind the Valley Mall. Very friendly staff! The food was delicious and fresh, and the sodas cold that steam was coming off of our glasses! Great fries, breaded mushroom, pizza, cheesesteak, and Italian sub. Reasonably priced and they serve beer and wine.“
“Stopped in Harrisonburg while traveling and did what I usually do, looked for a local brewery. Can not say enough good things about this place, the staff were phenomenal and the food was excellent but the real star was the beer. Had a Kolsch, it was fantastic and paired great with the Italian sandwich.Thank you, this was a great find after a long day of driving.“
“We came here for lunch while visiting historic downtown Harrisonburg. This is definitely not your run of the mill pizza place and has both an upscale food offering with a super friendly vibe.They offer a great variety of pizza choices as well as a create your own. Each pizza is a 10” personal pizza which could be shared if you aren’t too hungry. They have other options as well besides pizza but we only tried the pizza.I created my own with mozzarella, hand pulled sausage, mushrooms and arugula. My partner had the Brooklyn and our daughter has the cheese (fresh mozzarella). Each pizza was very good and had super fresh ingredients. I really enjoyed mine a lot with the fresh arugula and the well seasoned sausage. The dough was very good and cooked perfectly.The service staff was very friendly and helpful. The layout was vey open and they have different seating options that would fit anyone’s preference. I definitely come back here again when I’m in town!“
“My visit was phenomenal, myself and 2 friends each ordered an appetizer and entree, as well as each having a different cocktail. We all tried each other's food and drinks, and there was absolutely nothing to find at fault. Food was cooked perfectly and the cocktails were fantastic, as well as everything being reasonably priced. The blackened chicken special was great, chicken cooked perfectly, as well as the gnocchi and the tortellini entrees. On top of the excellent food, the service was some of the best I have ever received in almost any restaurant in the states. It's a six hour drive from me but I definitely plan on making the drive again, even if it's only for this place. Unfortunately I can't remember our waitresses name but she was fantastic. Highly, highly recommend.“
“This place is amazing. The service was one of the best I’ve ever had.The atmosphere is very good too with an Italian feel . The food was really good , the Mac and cheese amazing ?. The four cheese ravioli was so very good too. Chicken Parmesan was amazing. I actually rate it a 6 stars instead of 5 stars.Must go. This food is better than Gordon Ramsay’s food. 10/10. “We have ordered many times from this place and diff times of the day, morning to past 10pm. Their food is tasty, well prepped, lots of toppings on the pizzas and yummy garlic sauce. We love their friendly and super efficient staff.They always make an effort to wow us, either with free sauce or dips, or walking out the store to deliver carry out items with big smiles and appreciation. Try out their food and tip them well because they're fantastic!“
“We were on a bar crawl and I THINK this is where we did most of our hanging out - it was the end of the night lol They had some excellent shooters and the other drinks were great too! “Definitely a place I'll be coming back to. We ordered a 20in meat lovers pizza with cheese breadsticks and cheese and bacon fries. The pizza was pretty good and like I said 20 inches so it was huge. I was a fan of them having Canadian bacon and ham which most places don't offer. While the pizza was good the star of the show was their secret sauce which tasted like a mix of blue cheese and ranch. It was zesty and flavorful. The cheese breadsticks were some of if not the best I've ever had and a must try. The bacon cheese fries were good too but I was not a fan of them being put on aluminum foil cause most of the cheese stuck on the foil but other than that it was a truly excellent experience and I recommend giving them a try.“
“Stopped here after attending a JMU tour, in which it was said that Benny's is a bucket list experience and that the slices were as big as your head (according to JMU students). Not one to shy away from a challenge, I went to Benny's with the express intent of measuring my head against one of their pizza slices. I would say my head was still bigger, but the pizza slices lived up to the hype. These are massive slices (now image how big my head must be). At first, I thought we could order a whole pie. But with prices exceeding $40.00, we thought better and ordered the slices. I got one pepperoni and a siracha sausage slice (which was much better than the pepperoni. The slices were solid and I can understand why the students flock here. The thing I really liked is that you can hold the slice up to your head and you don't have to worry about the toppings sliding off or getting a grease bath on your pants below. I think Dave Portnoy ranked the pizza around 6.5 mark, but I would give it a 7, which I think is a respectable number. Seating is limited, but we came during off hours so it wasn't a problem. Also no fountain sodas, so everything's in a bottle or can.“

“Delivery was under 30 minutes, the driver brought it straight to our hotel room, no issues, and was still hot. Only complaints: light sauce requested, and it was definitely not light sauce. Paid for extra cheese, definitely not extra cheese. The white sauce was also very gritty.“
“Great place to hang out. Good bar food. Good variety on the drink menu. If there's a bartender present, they can also accommodate mixed drinks. Cheese steak sandwich was excellent. Purchased armband at the door gives you unlimited access to most games including duckpins bowling, pool, darts, video games, ping pong, skee ball. Halo is extra. Would be great to see an old school pinball machine or two. Bowling had some issues. Pinsetter kept losing pins. Finally gave up trying to get a perfect set. It's a vintage machine and so much fun to watch it work!“

“Great Maximus,finally a place to talk to someone in Italian and return to the simple flavors of Italy. The music in the background seems to be on the Amalfi Coast. Very kind person, like all the other staff. The Italian dishes are very good. I highly recommend a stop at his place (for a work break or with friends to have a chat)....and maybe even talk about Italian football.“
