Friendly staff, great Italian food. Hadn't been here in years, was not disappointed. Still had the cannelloni I used to love.

This is one of my favorite Italian restaurants. The food is always great and so is the friendly service. The best restaurant in the area.

We had a party of approximately 25 persons. The food was really good. We had only 1 wait staff but she did a great job serving us. We were pleased.

Maria and her staff are still putting out the best pizza on the planet....sans masks. Double bonus! You won't be disappointed!

Very friendly and attentive wait staff. Large portions of wonderfully delicious food! Even got a pizza to go!

One of my favorite restaurants. Been coming here for 25+ years. My only complaint is seeing staff eating and drinking by the cash register near where the food is prepared. Also for some reason a staff member told me not to use grubhub for my pickup orders, I don't really see what it matters how I order my food considering that I'm the one paying for it.

I could seriously eat here 3 times a week, it's THAT good. But I would need to make a full time job of going to the gym..

Our favorite Italian restaurant. Usually go at dinner. Today we went for lunch with 7 other people Although they were very busy. Our waitress was great. They are short staffed as many restaurants are. But Food was wonderful as usual. We were not rushed had plenty of time to just enjoy our conversation and meal. Will be back soon.

I've been going to Carini for almost 40 years. Great food and staff, family owned. Always great food.

What a find. We moved our daughter from NYC to Shockoe Bottom and was out this way getting some stuff for the apt when we came across Carini. The seafood manicotti (actually everything we ordered) was as good as any in NYC. great wait staff. A quick drive from her apartment. Will definitely be back when we're in town.

Dined with family late evening. Great staff, great food, great restaurant. We’ll be back. Kids loved their pizza. Seafood pasta was wonderful.

Tried this place on a tip from a random person, man it is good. Had to take home most of my meal as I was stuffed from the appetizer alone. 2 hard drinks 1 soft drink 2 apps and 2 big pasta dishes later, we paid $70 plus tip. Not bad for what all we got

I visited Carini's on a date night with an amazing man. We wanted to love the place. The atmosphere is delightful. The walls around us were painted like an Italian villa and we were near the water feature. Simply lovely! We ordered an appetizer and two dinners. The only thing served that I enjoyed was the side of alfredo that we requested for the bread. The garlic bread appetizer was made from the same sub rolls that they use with sandwiches (cheap white American bread), and we paid for the appetizer. There is no free bread like in nice Italian places. I ordered a pizza with a chicken topping and it was awful--completely inedible. The chicken tasted canned, the marinara was thin and watery, making the pizza damp. My partner ordered a shrimp marinara and it was passable. The watery, bland marinara is not doing them any favors. Please use garlic and basil, Carini's! I won't be going back. I can see the restaurant appealing to families with little kids. The bland sauce and cheap white bread are the flavors that appeal to young children, and little kids would get a kick out of the decor.
