“The Hillsville Diner is a town treasure and has been a much loved eating establishment for several decades. I got a bacon cheeseburger and French fries this trip. The hand-patted burger was cooked just right and was juicy and flavorful. The generous serving of golden French fries were delicious. The atmosphere is friendly and casual. They have many plate lunch options with a variety of sides along with sandwiches, burgers and hot dogs. They have phenomenal country breakfast until 10, too.”

“We are just passing through and spending the night in Hillsville VA. The Mason Jar was recommended, we are glad it was. Great service, food was good. Had my 1st piece of sweet potato cheese cake. Never knew it existed. Yum!! The hamburger came with ghost pepper cheese, buyer beware.. it is hot ?”

“It’s very small and uncomfortable as far as ambience goes. I wouldn’t advise stopping here to eat if it can be avoided. But the food’s pretty good and it’s a great place to get food to go.”

“Phenomenal food. I did not expect this at all walking in. The flavors in the food paired so well without overpowering each other. The pepperoni garlic knots and the chicken Alfredo calizone were the best I have ever had.”

“Best pizza in the area. Contenders supported my wife’s birthday on last minute, which was a big order during the week. We live in Jersey and frequently travel to New York (originally from Hillsville VA) and their pizza is definitely on the same level as the great spots up here. Friendly service, good prices and family environment. Being from Hillsville, I wish people supported local establishments more so go give it a try ??”

“Very sweet and kind girls there they help me I didn't have enough cash to pay for my drink and they helped me I was in so much pain and hot the AC in my car don't work I have MS and just had I broke my foot needed something cold just got there from my Dr appt, Thank god for them helping me.”

“I have visited this drive-thru many times and it is the best Burger King in the area. Also, the staff is on it. We rarely have to wait long. The food has been fresh every time, too, even in off hours! Keep up the good work!”
