I’ve worked in the food industry, and I speak from experience when I say that the guy who runs this place is like a superhero. Answering the phone, cooking the food, ringing up orders, dealing with customers. Always patient, always friendly. If you’re unsure where to go for Chinese food, please consider King House even if it is a little out of the way.“
“I've been here a few times now. The food is consistent and one of the better Chinese takeouts in the area. I've only tried a couple side items and the lunch boxes, but I've yet to be disappointed. The staff is nice and the food is cooked quite quickly. The soup comes out very hot. Parking situation is unfortunate and it is just a kitchen and a lobby, so you can only takeout. I don't think I've had anything mind blowing here, but it is exactly what you anticipate when getting Chinese takeout.I'd personally recommend the lunch boxes or the wonton soup.“

“Great General Tsao's Chicken, perfectly crispy w a sweet and sdelicately spiced sauce. Sesame chicken is also good, very similar. I've been going there for years and the quality has stayed the same. I like to get it with extra broccoli. Their other dishes like beef and broccoli or their lo mein or egg rolls are good too.Wheelchair accessibility: There's disabled parking spots, a sidewalk, and it's on the first floor with pull open doors, and seats where you can move the chairs to accommodate a wheelchair.“
“Was our first time trying the food here and it was definitely better than all the other Chinese food places in Lynchburg. We got the Szechwan chicken and Hunan chicken. Both were good but the we both loved the Szechwan more. The egg rolls were so so. But the food was good. Jade Palace will be our first choice whenever we want Chinese food for sure ……“
