Got drive thru, service was very quick. Tried a custom burger, chicken tenders, and fries. Reminds me of five guys but cheaper/better value. Greasy but still good. Only wish they would toast their buns so the burger doesn't get soggy. But, would go again when craving fast food. Paid $30 for 2 burgers, sets of tenders, and fries (would have cost closer to $50 at five guys)
The food is great, the atmosphere is fun as it is in a college town, but it isn't uncommon to feel as if food preps are inconsistent or nonchalant in their quantity of food items.Parking: There is a medium sized parking lot in front of Cookout, and a very large parking lot behind it that usually pars for the asian buffet behind it. There's never enough cars in the Asian buffet lot, so people going to Cookout often park in that lot in the event of a full Cookout lot

Cook Out is amazing!! It’s Lynchburg that needs to catch up! You can go during the day and get in and out, but at night it is a nightmare to get in and out. I wasn’t going to give less stars for that reason but the night time parking lot is mess.
