“While attending LU, my daughter had worked previously in a school cafeteria (where regulations for safety and sanitation are very strict!) as well as another restaurant in town. So, when she recently took the job of server at Ty Thai, I asked her what the kitchen, food prep, and sanitation practices were like....Her answer: "Not a problem here, Mom! They are meticulous about food storage and cleanliness!" I wanted to share that in my review, from an "insiders" p.o.v., for people who care about such things ...Now to address other aspects of the restaurant:I have gone at least five times since my daughter began working there and have always found the meals to be excellent! The egg noodle dishes and spicy rice are probably my favorites. I love that there are so many vegetables in their dishes. My daughter tells me the food is free of MSG (I have to request that it be omitted from Chinese dishes), and the service couldn't be better! ?There is, at times, a longer wait for the food than one might experience in other restaurants. I see they've received some negative reviews because of this. I just want to add that this is a family -owned business, and there are only two, maybe three cooks with a few burners on which to work. Every single dish is made FRESH!! That takes time - especially on busy weekend nights. So, if you're in a hurry, go through the McD's drive-through!! If you are looking for quality food in a clean, relaxing atmosphere, go to Ty Thai (and don't forget to tip your server! ☺️)“
“It was take out. It's interesting... There is practically no signage you wait in your car for them to bring it out. Still hot when I got home and very delicious. I had the Thai Noodle Soup. Medium hot and that was enough for me. Everything was so fresh and tasty. I'm glad I ordered the dinner portion for lunch!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian dishes! The vegetable broth is delicious!Parking: Several spots order ahead, get there when you say your coming and they will bring it out to you.“
