“We arrived around noon on a Sunday in February. We were greeted promptly and were allowed to pick our own table. It was fairly busy but there were several tables open. It is deceiving from the exterior, because it’s actually a nice ambience with, by gosh, real tablecloths. There is a nice bar area and then a couple of separate areas with tables. Our waitress was prompt and friendly. Service was good and the food was delivered in a reasonable amount of time. For lunch, my spouse ordered the Sailor sandwich, and I ordered the Cuban. The Sailor came stuffed with pastrami, knockwurst and baby swiss on rye. The Cuban had slow roasted pulled pork, Virginia pit ham, smoked provolone, dill pickles and dijonnaise. Both were tasty but the Sailor was the winner – that knockwurst knocked it out of the park! The french fries were lightly breaded, and they were hot and delicious. Prices are average for the area. Highly recommend!”

“Old Richmond steakhouse. Not the fanciest restaurant in Richmond located in an older strip mall with that said it's an institution. Been here forever. Good service great food and old Richmond atmosphere. Make sure I get reservations tables are hard to come by.”

Ordered the Rosemary Sea Salt bagel egg & cheese, salsa verde egg & cheese kolache (their specialty), and a brown sugar Rosemary Sea salt iced latte (lightly sweetened). Everything was fantastic and freshly made! Kolach is a stuffed Czech/Slovak pastry which was unique and a great blend of sweet/savory. Zack, the owner was incredibly hospitable!”

“It’s like grabbing a bite at your Uncle’s table. Although it may seem like walking into a time capsule, my family was greeted by the friendly owner. And he does everything; cooking, cleaning, running the register, and taking care of customers. It was really impressive and can really appreciate he does it all with a smile.The food is a must-try. Our chicken gyro was delicious with sliced peppers to give it a little kick. The pep-pizza for my son was crispy and made fresh. The fries were crisp and fresh as well. Overall, my family loved the restaurant and will definitely be back to try something new on the menu!”
