“This place is the best kabobs, rice, and chickpeas I have ever had!!! Want a juicy chicken kabob that makes your mouth water just looking at it or a koobideh kabob that fulfills your beef needs, look no further. If you have ever been Ravi Kabob this place is better by far. The staff are very friendly and serves you like your guest in their home. And nothing is better ambiance than seeing Arabic verses of the Quran.“
“Theere was not a single problem with the food. The atmosphere was a but boring considering there is no music as well as boring decor except for one corner of the restaurant. Apart from that the food was perfect. Took a little too long to make but it came fresh and perfectly seasoned as well as very flavorful. Every bite is a punch in the face. The spice was perfect. Enough to make u break a sweat but not enough to ruin the meal for you. Would absolutely recommend the goat byriani and chicken Karahi as well as the butter chicken.“
“Pakwaan Indian Cuisine in Gainesville, Virginia offers a tantalizing journey through authentic flavors of India. The aroma of spices greets you as you enter, setting the stage for a culinary adventure. I indulged in their butter chicken, which was creamy, rich, and packed with tender pieces of chicken bathing in a velvety sauce that left me craving more. The aloo gobi, a delightful blend of potatoes and cauliflower, was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The chili chicken momos were a revelation - juicy chicken enveloped in a spicy, flavorful sauce, encased in delicate dumplings that burst with every bite. And the garlic naan, oh the garlic naan, was the ideal accompaniment, freshly baked and infused with just the right amount of garlic flavor. The ambiance was cozy, the service impeccable, and the overall experience unforgettable. Pakwaan Indian Cuisine is a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic taste of India in Gainesville. Along with the food, the offered beverages topped it off.“
“I looove Indian food and all I can say about this place is Authentic and delicious! They have a variety of egg centered street food dishes (their speciality) and of course mouthwatering curries. This gave me the perfect fix for my craving, I was thoroughly impressed! Everything that my friend and I tried on the menu was so flavorful, fresh and tasted really good!I love spicy food but I know not everyone can handle it so I love how you can choose your heat flavor for some of their menu items. Each entree came with naan bread and we got a side of rice. These are some of the things we had from the menu.Chicken Butter MasalaBoneless chicken cooked in a creamy onion-based gravyChicken KadaiBoneless chicken cooked in a creamy gravy with onions & peppersSurti GotaloShredded hard boiled eggs mixed with sunny side up in our special house spicesDrinks:Mango LassiDesi ChaiThe entree portion sizes were pretty big, we had enough to take home and enjoy for dinner as well. The food comes in plastic containers which have lids incase you don’t finish the food but in the restaurant for dine in they offer paper plates for easy disposal. The staff was really accommodating as they explained each of the menu items to us very clearly and also suggested great drinks. The restaurant does have seating they have a few booths and also tables for two.I’m not sure if they have restrooms as I didn’t go to the back. They are located in a shopping plaza so there is a lot of free parking available.I would definitely go back!Vegetarian options: They have a large selection of vegetables and egg themed dishes which would appeal to vegetarians. I love how they can also choose different heat levels“
“The food was high quality and tasted amazing. The thing that set my experience apart was the customer service. There was a mistake with one of our orders that caused it to take longer than usual. The manager came over to explain and apologize and gave us an order of another dish to eat while we waited. We will be coming back many more times! The value for the quantity and quality of the food was also very good. Highly recommend checking this place out!“
“A good place to have some Malaysian food in Centreville, Virginia. The service was good and the food was great. No regrets on either point.Of course like any other Malaysian restaurant, we had to order Roti Canai from the appetizer menu and it was amazing. My son just loved the hot, fresh, flaky roti that he asked to order more. We also ordered Chicken Satay which was nice, juicy and flavorful. For the main course, we ordered Malaysian style fried rice which is a combination of chicken, shrimp and tofu as well and comes with pan fried egg on top. Definitely worth it. We also ordered Beef Rendang and Nyonya curry fish fillet. Fish was good but the curry was a little on the saltier and sour side. Believe it might have been tamarind or something similar to give that sour taste. Beef Rendang definitely was on the top with Roti Canai. Tender pieces of beef in a spicy curry. A must try.The prices were reasonable not extravagant like we see nowadays and the quantity was good for the price.Anyone looking for a Malaysian restaurant which is not too fancy, not expensive but has good service and good food, check this one out.Parking: Plenty of parking in the shopping plaza.Kid-friendliness: There were families with the kids and the kids seem to be enjoying their time.My kids are a little older but they enjoyed the food especially Roti Canai.“
“Tried bombay bites for the first time. Food was very good and looked fresh to me. The price was very reasonable at this current inflated market and compared to other restaurants. This desi restaurant deserves more promotion across all DMV areas. I would surely recommend to anyone.“
“This was my first time visiting this location (in person). I feel like I may have ordered from them via Uber Eats before (I cannot confirm nor deny this..). It almost next door to Lotte, so figured why not check it out. Staff was very friendly/accommodating.They have SO MANY preparations/variations of Biryani. I was curious about most of them, but unfortunately, there weren't any pictures available online or on the menus. I've never had (or heard of) jackfruit biryani, but we will definitely try it next time, Malabar style. We decided to play it safe and get the Malabar veg biryani, medium spicy. It was tasty, no weird veggies in it.I wish they would add pictures of the different variations or provide details of each preparation on the menu or online.“
“Saravana Palace is really good. I got the masala dosa and paneer tikka curry from here, and the masala dosa was really good, and crisp, probably because of the ghee. The paneer tikka curry was yummy, but I wish they cut down on the amount of gravy used and considered complementing the dish with bell peppers or tomatoes. Sambar was flavorful, and in my opinion, better than Woodland's.I hope to come back here.“
“We were visiting the air and space museum. While looking for dinner options we came across this place and decided to check it out. I am glad we did. The food was excellent. We tried the veg platter. They provided multiple options for sabji. Everything was fresh and no additives. The service was great and people were very hospitable. We also purchased some packaged snacks made by them. Few healthy options as well. Overall very impressed by this place. We will visit again for sure..“
“I do have a nut allergy, so unfortunately, I haven't been able to get anything besides the dosas. I really like the dosas, especially the masala dosa. However, I just don't feel like there are enough options to include the ghee on the dosa, because the ghee is what gives the but I just wish that there were more options to get the ghee on the dosa, because the ghee is what gives the dosa its crispiness. The potatoes in the dosa are also pretty good. Dosas are pretty huge, along with the sambar that comes with it. I recently tried the paneer tikka as I learned from the owner that dish does not have nuts, and it was decent. I felt like it could have been served without the red dye on top, but it was still delicious. The song volume is sometimes a bit too high in the restaurant, affecting the atmosphere, so that would probably be my only critique.Overall, highly recommend.“
“It’s kinda hidden in the shopping complex but worth finding!!!! Everything was 5 star, my only tiff with atmosphere would be it’s kinda low lighting. However the food, service and cleanliness of the restaurant was great!!!! We sought this place out as it had a 3.8 star but yet was voted as a BEST OF just a year ago. It did not disappoint at all!!!! They host a lunch Buffett on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Monday through Thursday they offer platters, Vegetarian or with Meat. With tip you are looking at around $17-$20 per person. They served a nice little dessert with the meal. Flavors were GREAT in all the food that we were served!!!!“
“This restaurant under new management is amazing! The owner served us and made us feel so welcomed. He is so kind and friendly. The food was delicious and the service even better. I definitely recommend this place and will definitely be going back.“
“I was intrigued by the description, Indian fast food, since I needed a quick place for lunch.I could tell this place was predominantly an Indian establishment for Indian patrons since there weren't any descriptions of food or pictures. I ordered the chicken Tikka panini and it was delicious - chicken Tikka, mayo, cheese, and lettuce on a bread (not white bread). My husband got the boneless chicken biryani and it was very spicy. Great flavor but Indian level spice.Very simple and stark looking inside.“
“Really enjoyed our dinner at Rangoli in Manassas. My husband and I were regulars at the South Riding location. Glad to know that the taste and service are still top notch. Definitely worth the trip. Our order:Paneer MakhaniYellow Dal TarkaRoti“
