This is absolutely the best authentic Italian restaurant in Northern Virginia. There is another "best" place that is Italian but that is a pizzeria, so it needs to be ranked in the pizzeria category rather. Dal Grano is a cozy modern Italian eatery offering a really nice menu and they also always have some specials to enhance already delightful choices in the appetizers, soups, salads, main dishes, and desserts. We eat our rarely, but when we do Dal Grano is always the top choice. Delicious pasta and desserts. Wait staff is attentive and accommodating to families with children. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of food and customer service provided.
