Our server Destiny was by far one of the best servers I have ever had in my life, very friendly and such great energy! I ordered the steak and cheese and my friend ordered their deep dish pizza . The steak and cheese was filled with meat and tasted amazing, the bread was fresh and the fries were crispy and flavorful! The pizza was huge and was also amazing! “We had a fantastic karaoke evening at Gus’s this past Saturday night. The atmosphere was great, bartender was on spot and crowd was amazing. I love karaoke and many of the patrons asked me to return every weekend for karaoke. We did not try the food because we had dinner before we arrived. One of the most impressive things was karaoke went on till 1:00 am. In Lynchburg where I am from everything shuts down at 10 or 11?. This will be one of our new go to places when in the area. Thumbs up!!!“
“By far the best Italian food we've found. There are so many in the area, but this Giovanni's is the best. I love their pizza, and last night we had the pesto tortellini and it was so creamy and flavorful. My husband had minestrone soup and said it was the best he's ever had. Portion sizes were very generous and service was incredible. With all the staffing issues so many restaurants have had lately, we had no issues with waiting at all and everyone was so friendly. 5 stars all around“
“I don't usually give 5-star reviews but this one had everything going for it. Not from this town so we just happened to stop by. It is a small family-owned Italian restaurant. The atmosphere was casual and friendly and we felt very welcome. The owner was walking around checking on things and making sure customers were happy. The waitress was very nice and kept everything filled and even served our pizza. Now the food... we had a half cheese half meat lovers pizza, chicken picata, chicken marsala, and lobster ravioli. The pink sauce and house sauce were phenomenal. Food was hot. Pizza had great flavor, even in the crust. Everything was just on point. Recommend giving it a chance!“

“We found Pastahouse after realizing traffic was pretty bad after the Richmond marathon expo at the raceway. This was a pre race meal so we were hoping for fresh and clean food. This place is a gem! Absolutely amazing! Chicken parm, eggplant parm and chicken Marsala were excellent! So fresh and good. Website multiple times that we wish we had a place like this back home. Highly recommend!“
“Incredibly noisy little restaurant. The place was packed but they still had the 80s blasting over the stereo. Made it hard to think.Waitress forgot our apps, but we weren't charged so no biggie. Portion size is tremendous. They're unfortunately giving customers two meals for the price of one. Food flavors and everything we're downright excellent. Would go again, just ask them to turn the background noise down a notch.“
“I LOVE this restaurant! Great value for what you get - large portions! I always take at least half of my food home and make more meals with it. The owners are amazing people, and the employees are very nice. Most know us well and our frequent orders. Some days are better than others with the food and service, but I'm understanding. No one is perfect and having worked retail myself, I understand what it's like to be busy.Vegetarian options: Penne with marinara, tomato, or garlic sauce.“
“I do not live in town and called on a Friday to see if the restaurant could accommodate a group of 45 the next evening. They said they were able to do so. On Saturday morning, the owner called to verify all of the details and tell us they would be ready. We showed up a little early and they were ready for us. They were so great in getting everyone's orders in a timely manner and keeping up with all the food that the group of teenagers kept ordering! We highly recommend Mimmo's and will come back the next time we are in town.“
“1st time visiting so I didn't know what to expect. Dined in, but the restaurant is more of a pick up / delivery spot with only a couple of high top tables inside. The pizza menu is creative with quite a selection of specialty pizzas, subs, and other items. Took a few minutes to decide because of the number of choices. Everything we had was fresh tasting and the pizza crust was a really good thin crust. The staff was very knowledgeable about the menu and very helpful with suggestions. Will definitely be stopping by again when I'm in a pizza mood!Parking: Drive through pickup window available.“
