I always love seeing employees and owner's that care about their buisness and I can tell these folks work hard. “I went after work yesterday for the first time. After spending the day foodless, I was greated by a packed bowl of noodles, veggies and teriyaki chicken. I couldn't be happier. The flavor was amazing and everything was cooked to perfection. My VERY picky 10 month old who refuses to eat chicken was very happy with the chicken in this bowl as well. I finally found a chicken dish he can enjoy after countless attempts and varieties of chicken. Definitely a win for a tired momma who struggles with a picky eater. The staff were kind and seemed very happy to be there. You can always tell the difference in a staff who believes in the food they sell. Everything came out pretty quickly and I was on my way. I did try the "mad" sauce and whew was it hot, a little too hot for me so I'll stick to adding my own shirracha. We will be back!“

Fried banana desert was good, but would be improved cut in smaller pieces, and served with a dallop of ice cream.“

“The food is always on point! This experience was a little frustrating because our res was at 7:30, got seated at 7:40, and didn't have our food cooking until 8:40. There were people at our table that had a 7:00 res. CRAZY! The wait was the most frustrating part and the manager or owner took care of a table that had a VERY short wait and offered them a free round of drinks and only had a 20 min wait for a hibachi chef, but didn't even acknowledge our table that had waited over an hour for one. It would have been nice for him to stop by and say "apologies for the wait", "they will be here in X minutes ", or just something to acknowledge us since our wait had been so much longer than that table. We are grateful our small kids had the patience for this...surprisingly enough...because it would have been painful otherwise.“

“Many have already said it, but this is kind of one of those hidden gems. Never really busy inside, but definitely always busy for takeout and delivery service orders. This isn't like a fancy date night kinda place, but it's definitely a place for a great meal when not worried about the ambiance. It's a rather open place with the seating being right by the sushi bar and open to the entrance all in one view, and there is like another section of the restaurant behind that wall, but I think they only use it if busy/full it seems. Service is okay and pretty typical for what you get at most hibachi style restaurants, which is not personable but just checklist style. I'm okay with it though as long as it's attentive and my drink isn't empty, so no worries because this spot is intimate enough to be checked on and constantly see your server. Sushi here is fresh and delish. This time I ordered just a spider roll as an appetizer, but have had the pleasure of trying many different sushi options here before. Definitely a good choice to try something. I really like their hibachi, despite them not having a grill where you get the show and it's cooked in front of you. Honestly, sometimes (most times) I don't want the show and just want to eat lol so I actually like that I get my food in about 20 mins! The only things I wish they would change is to cut the veggies more and bring out yum yum and/or ginger sauce without having to ask for it. Either way food is great. I've also ordered takeout during lunch and prices are great and portions are decent. I always appreciate consistency between lunch and dinner and dine in vs takeout for a restaurant, and they are consistent regardless of how you dine. I like that it's kinda low key in the cut and never packed and pretty intimate for a quick hibachi or sushi dinner!“

“I didn’t get my miso soup till it came with the check, but I survived, since the Maki combo was a steal. Basically eighteen pieces of sushi for eighteen dollars! The fish was freshhhh and I was a happy gurl after my meal. It was a little slow, but the staff was getting stuff done!! I support Osaka, and I would 100% chow down on that maki combo again ???? ? “
“Food is always, always top tier! Steak is always cooked well like I ask but far from tough! Chicken I always juicy and the rice and veggies are way fresh! For the price and portion, you can eat off it 2 times or share! When I order extra meat, omg crazy size and for $30 I’ll take it anytime! Yum yum sauce is perfect literally. I’m super picky about my food and I drive all the way across town to eat here on a regular! The store can get a little packed because they stay busy but it’s well worth it!Parking: Lot is small and they are by a lot of other busy places. Parking if there just take your time because people fly through there.Wheelchair accessibility: You can get on the side walk. Door is a little narrow but you may be able to get in.“

“We tried the teriyaki chicken, beef, and shrimp. The chicken was the most flavorful; however, the other two were still delicious. We watched them cook all our food fresh and service was great. They also give you large portions. If you like teriyaki flavor and rice, you'll love this place. They also have sides and deserts, but unfortunately we didn't try any of those. We'll be back for sure.“

“Ordered the Chicken Hibachi, Peppered Tuna Roll, Salmon Avacado Roll, a Thai tea, and a soft drink for $32. The rolls had huge pieces of fish, the hibachi was fantastic, and the Thai tea was super tasty. I'm glad there was two of us because the portions were big for the price! We will be back!!“
“This place was a pleasant surprise! We're not hugely impressed by most Chesterfield Asian food restaurants, but the price was fair for the portion, the food was satisfying (though I think some things that are vegetarian are still cooked with oils used for meats, solely based on the taste of our fried rice) and the sushi was actually very good! The hibachi box combos I personally enjoyed though my wife was less impressed (as a vegetarian). I personally would be happy to go again soon!“
“We had a wonderful experience at Sakura last night. We usually go to a different spot in short pump but they had a wait so Sakura fit us in for a last minute reservation for 7 people. We had a much better experience there!! The food was delicious, our kids loved the show, and it felt calm in there. Most notably, our server Troy was the best I’ve had in a LONG time. So attentive and helpful. Our son had a health issue and he was incredibly kind and caring about it. In todays world there aren’t many Troys! We will definitely be going back!“
“Used to be Sushi King, but changed their name, even though some of the sushi chef's we're still wearing Sushi King shirts. It is a great place to go try sushi. All you can eat so you can try things to find out what kind of sushi you actually like. They also have tons of appetizers that you can get as well. Service is good, but we did order a few things that took forever to come, and one never did, even though our waiter said he had checked on it a few times. My daughter really liked their soup. They do have a little Buffet area, Saturday afternoon for lunch there wasn't a lot of stuff out on it. It's not a high-end sushi place they are much better sushi places out there, but as a all you can eat for lunch or dinner, with appetizers it's hard to be beat. Don't play the little claw game they have out in the lobby that thing couldn't pick up a feather if it needed to!“
“First time here at Katana Sushi. The reviews were awesome so we had to try it out. The wife ordered Kenny and Tuna Love. I ordered Tuna Love, Melvin Roll and 2 pieces of fatty tuna. Service was just as amazing as the sushi. Food was extremely fresh and delicious. Service was quick and very friendly. We will absolutely be back again soon!“
