My initial impression was that this was a place for the locals. While that is true, it is still a good place for non-locals. Larger than expected men, decent beer options and plenty of televisions around, including one at each booth. The appetizer wings are a great size to share, and good flavor options. As much as I wanted to try an actual meal I was full after the wings and mozzarella sticks. Small hole in the wall, which is perfect.

This place is not only a local’s dream but a visitor’s boon. The happy hour is 50% off YOUR ENTIRE BILL. Yes ma’am, you read that right. I come here pretty regularly and I love Scotty Quixx for so many reasons -- most of all being the staff. They're just cool people who make you feel like you're at your home bar. The food is also a plus: great quality Ahi tuna, awesome spinach dip, good wings, etc. Their happy hour is great and even without happy hour prices, this is a killer place to just drink and enjoy a lively spot.
