“I dined there on the spur of the moment with my son recently. It was quickly obvious that this was a class operation. My expectations were high after enjoying the warm welcome by the staff and being offered two wines to sample. We started off with the James River oysters which were nestled in a bed of horseradish. Words can not describe how tasty they were.My son ordered the lamb chops and I ordered the Faroe Island salmon. Both entrees were exquisite. A complimentary dessert of bread pudding was provided.Chef Moats and the entire staff were on the top of their game. I have been too many restaurants that were almost as good as 350Grace but I can honestly say I have never been to any better.Fran M“
“Stopped in for dinner tonight. Made a last minute reservation online and they honored it and got us seated right away. Kharol was our server and she was fantastic. Informative and friendly and quick to keep drinks filled. Ordered the honey fried chicken and Mac & cheese, and the beef tips and pasta. Apricot bread pudding for dessert. The food was wonderful. Full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The building is beautiful and tastefully refreshed. If we were locals we would definitely return!!“
“My wife and I had dinner on a Sunday evening. The entire experience was excellent from the host greeting and seating us promptly to the waitress recommending two phenomenal entrees to my wife and I for dinner. My wife ordered the Catch of the Day(Salmon) Bronzed, which is a seasoning that is 3 parts cajun 1 part brown sugar. The Salmon was cooked perfectly and the bronzing was absolutely delicious. I ordered the Seared Diver scallops, the dinner entree had 8 good sized scallops that were seared with cajun seasoning giving them the perfect amount of spice to pair with the sweetness of the scallops. Overall Come here for a great dinner and delicious fine seafood!“
“First time coming today! So glad we did. I was craving a po boy and unfortunately they changed their menu and stopped serving it before 3. My server was Ashley and she knew I wanted it and asked the chef to make and he did. She crab soup was good too. Po boy came out and had a lot of shrimp. Very good will be coming back next time we go out. Thanks ashley“
“Looking for A Seafood spot???... OUR PEOPLES SOULFUL SEAFOOD should be on your list. My FAVORITE Kid-friendliness: OUR PEOPLE'S SOULFUL SEAFOOD is for the kids. Very nice environment and wonderful place to relax and enjoy with your family and friends.“
“We’ve been here several times, and as usual, the atmosphere, service and food did not disappoint! We started out with smoked wings and fried pickles. The wings were flavorful, and the fried pickles were very tasty. We ordered the pork and catfish with green beans and jalapeño cornbread. We also ordered the Bang Bang shrimp with hush puppies. Our food looked good and tasted even better. Maddie was our server. It was a pleasure to make her acquaintance again! Always a wonderful experience when we go to the Fishin Pig!“
“Fish and chips was light and crunchy. Delicious.Seafood platter was big enough for two, tea was fresh and obviously not Lipton. The owner was amazingly attentive and a joy to talk to. She genuinely cares to see that you enjoy the food, and takes obvious pride in her menu. I’ve been twice now, and I’ll be back.“
“Found out about this place last summer and it's close to home. The staff is amazing and the food is always great. It's right on the water overlooking the Marina. Definitely recommend this place to anybody. I've actually turned several friends on to it as well.“
“We enjoyed our dinner before attending a show at Chrysler Hall. The restaurant was very busy with show-goers, and service was a bit slow. Our food tasted delicious, but the mashed potatoes, risotto, and carrots were luke-warm at best. If we'd had more time, we would have sent them back to be heated up. There was no time for dessert, sadly. Our server was very pleasant and the ambiance was great. We will return.“
“We were immediately seated, bar tender is charming and attentive. Her recommendations were on point. And the kitchen delivered on the promise. French Dip beat my wife's expectations. Daughter's Tourist Tan sandwich was like Thanksgiving in one sandwich. My fried fish tacos were Bomb ? ? and the beans n rice were delicious. Come and Get It!“
“This place is awesome! There is so much to choose from. Drinks, food, appetizers. We had a dozen mixed raw oysters that were fabulous!I had the meatloaf and oyster stew. So delicious and so much food, I couldn't eat it all.Definitely a place to visit again“
“This place was hands down the best seafood ?? joint I’ve been to in a long time. We loved everything about it and absolutely will return! If you’re in the area, GO TRY THEM OUT!Kid-friendliness: Our kiddos were loud per usual but they were so kind and even brought some markers and pens for our kids to draw with.“
“I really look for two things when eating out. I look for places where my dish will not be some variation of something else I've had 1000 times, and I look for whether it's done well. This place scores high marks on both accounts. I had the pork-o-Rama on the suggestion of my server. Everything was great and cooked expertly. I can't remember the name of an almost pot pie type item that was just amazing. Can't even put into words. Definitely worth it.“
“Definitely happy to have found this place, it’s authentic, great vibes, music and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious, the owner and I spoke about family and buisness. Worth coming to enjoy some delicious Hispanic foods ? starting the new year with an amazing dinner!“
“Service was a bit slow at the beginning, but during our meal, I appreciated the time to eat and chat without someone hovering. Overall, dinner was very good, the music was great, and the staff was friendly. I'll be back for sure. **Note: Gratuity is charged 20% automatically. Tip extra as you prefer. **“
“I have been coming to this place for the past year for the delicious way of making food! The boils, any crab legs, lobster tail, clams etc. Are completely flavorful and never disappoint! The fried catfish is also a great way to end the day with perfect portion size that is well worth your money! Don't miss out on this hidden gem.“
“Born and raised in Virginia, but living in NY and yak is only sold HEREI knew I was choosing the right place when I called and asked about YAK and they said yes we have old school YAK and NAMED all the ingredients…I also got a small smoke…Baby Baby.. it was everything.. It reminded me of Charlie Wong that used to be on Bramton. The food was delicious. A++++++“
“Ocean view Pier is awesome the view is beautiful the food is great.. the restaurant on the first deck is awesome and the top deck is awesome.. my favorite place . The servers are always polite...good service.. the fishing pier is awesome too the longest pier on the East Coast.. and they have bands that play and they're always good.“
“My favorite seafood spot. The food is always fresh. I usually call my orders in and they always ready for pick when I arrive, 15 mins or so after a call in. Prices are reasonable and they include hot sauce, tarter and cocktail sauce depending on what you order. The cole slaw and potato salad is good as well. The only con is they close early 6 pm.Check em out if you are in the areas“
“The operator /owner Beth and Pablo are the most wonderful people we know. The way they treat us not only as customers but friends are above and beyond. Highly recommend to others who are looking for great service and wide selection of goods.“
“This is two restaurants in one with a bar on the lower level and a formal dining room on the top... We opted for the formal dining room. We ordered a cocktail, and our waiter promptly pushed us for our entrée order... we placed an appetizer order, and before the drinks were even to the table, we were asked for entrée order a second time... The drinks took forever, but when they arrived, we were asked a third time for our entrée order, even though we had not received our appetizer - The restaurant had several empty tables, yet we were feeling very rushed. I had the jambalaya, which was delicious with just the right amount of spice. Five Stars overall, and we would definitely come back, but probably try the downstairs tavern area and stay away from the more formal and rushed dining room. “
“Great big space for groups, service is great, food always hot, hopefully soon they start the karaoke nights. I recommend oyster basket, soft shell crab po boy, black mussels, calamari, gumbo, and seafood fried rice. Also great drink specials on Wednesdays.“
“It’s easy to miss this place if you don’t know about it but certainly look for it. It seems to be a place the locals know about as the staff know the regulars. There’s plenty of parking so no reason not to go. Inside it’s very casual but everyone is having a good time. The food is very good, with the she crab soup supposedly the thing to get. It wasn’t on the menu so I asked about it. I don’t eat seafood but ordered it for my wife (she initially resisted) and she loved it. She also has the strawberry French toast. I had the Diablo burger ( not too hot IMHO) which had great flavor.“
“I felt love as soon as I walked in the door. The music makes the atmosphere 10 times better. I felt very welcomed in the atmosphere they play the most beautiful jazz. The employees do their best to make it feel like home away from home. My house salad was so fresh and full of fresh ingredients. It was also topped with oranges and lemons which I have never experienced. The Collard Greens were seasoned like no other and had smoked turkey in them as well. They gave complementary cornbread and it was nice, warm, and sweet. I really enjoyed this place and I recommend everyone to try it because I definitely will be coming back.“
“This is a hidden gem! I was starving for some good Indian food and found Saffron. First off, our waiter Shine was very professional and helpful. His knowledge of the menu was great. He helped me make a decision for what I wanted to eat, and the food was delicious! He really knows Indian cuisine. I will definitely be back to try other items. Thank you Shine for making Saffron a great experience.“
“I have been ordering from this place for the past year. My old place stop delivering during the pandemic and never started again. Everything happens for a reason. I found a new favorite! The delivery is super quick and the food is wonderful.“
“Happened to find this place bc I was craving a cheesesteak and our usual spot was closed. What a blessing that was. Parking required navigating around the back of the business to an empty lot (or approach via an apron on the adjacent one way (26th?) and risk hitting a concrete slab corner. I saw cars parked curbside, but wasn't sure if it was permitted or not. So be prepared. I opted for a Philly cheesesteak hoagie with a toasted bun, sweet peppers, and oil. Man was it good! Generous helping of meat, crunchy yet soft roll. It was so good that I started on the second half knowing I shouldn't, was already full, and going to be bursting soon. There were some other menu options that sounded good so we'll have to go back and check them out again soon. Afterwards, I spent some time talking to the owner (nice chap) about the business; he leaves his personal cell number up by the register in the event that there's a problem.Highly recommend!“
“I was home last week and had to stop by my crab spot Bay Seafood. No frills, just hot fried crabs! They don't need no hot sauce or vinegar. The batter is that good. If you don't know...know you know. Try them out. The crab batter dipped shrimp and crab rolls are good too.“
“Over all for a quick search on seafood I choose to try Surf Rider Bay Point Restaurant. For a fly of the moment walk in and order to go 2 meals with sides of say it worth a visit the inside is open and friendly based environment. The outside which is limited to seating has a very nice outdoor sitting nice place just to eat and talk with family or friends even your date would love it with its just calming surroundings and views. The food was really prepared well in taste and presentation was pretty gd made it much more appetizing. Over all this place is unique in its own way. Thumbs up on the server very polite professional and courteous. For my 1st visit will keep it in mind on my future visits I really like the environment it has.“
“Awesome fun clean restaurant!Local spot, Owner very much bringing Willoughby Spit to theForefront! As all buisines’s have challenges please look at the investment around you & know this part of Willoughby Spit history would not be here if the owner had not stepped up and put heart & soul into it! Just look @ the murials inside & out! That’s Love!“
“Definitely an order to-go place as it’s not exactly the atmosphere to dine-in. Wings were crispy and good. Not a huge fan of the Philly sub I ordered and the cheeseburger was mushrooms on it which I don’t recall being part of the ingredients when I ordered.Overall, I think the proof is in the name, wings are what they do best so I’d stick to that when ordering. I had the Honey Bbq and the Jerk dry seasoning. Hot and tasty!Customer service was lacking. They took my order and gave me everything I asked for it just seemed like they were in their own world and customers coming in were secondary to whatever conversation they were having. When they engage it wasn’t rude at all but again just not what customer service is supposed to be.“
“It's the sauce! Trust me, it doesn't matter what you eat it on--get that dang BOIL BAY SAUCE! Mild or spicy--that doesn't matter either. When u tell you that sauce will CHANGE YOUR LIFE--hear me on that one.I don't even eat meat or seafood....I got that sauce on corn and three potatoes and I was licking the bag like the other people with that steam bag.Last warning: GET THE SAUCE!!!!“
“I love this place. My favorite steakhouse in Norfolk. I generally prefer to eat downstairs as it's more casual, and doesn't have a dress code. Either way, the service is always great and the food is excellent. Had their dry aged ribeye last time, and I would order it again.“
