“I have lived in Japan and it has been so hard to find authentic Japanese food but look no further for this place is as real as it gets. I was so nostalgic during dinner, they bring out miso soup and salad as a complimentary starter. In order the Mt Fuji roll which was divine! I also ordered the tempura dinner and it was delicious! Great portions and even better taste! I will recommend this location to everyone who wants authentic Japanese cuisine!“
“Went here on a recommendation from a friend and absolutely loved it. We had the all you can eat lunch buffet on saturday and were not disappointed. My honey and I tried the sweet potatoe tempura hand rolls, volcano roll, crazy monky roll, boston roll, and super dragon rolls, all of which were delicous.“
“I loved it here! Never thought any place could compare to my other favorite all-you-can-eat sushi spot in Norfolk but the service here was impeccable (and we had a group of 9). The food was excellent and sushi made fresh. I ordered many things. The only thing I didn't care for was the spring roll--seemed to be frozen and not cooked all the way through, so a little mushy. The green tea ice cream was a hit and they have a vast drink menu to order from to include various flavors of Japanese soda in glass bottles. They handle groups very well and are at your service with smiling faces! Even the bus boy was super friendly! I only gave atmosphere 4 stars because I wish the place was a little bigger, but its still very accommodating.“

“This is my go-to restaurant for my "mom dates"... My fiance sends me here alone with my favorite book whenever I get burned out with our two toddlers. The atmosphere is so peaceful and comfortably quiet! The server is always quick, respectful & concise. She takes my order and lets me settle into my book peacefully, and for that, she's my favorite person in the world for the next hour or so ?The food (I always order the same horse salad, gyoza & philly roll w/o cream cheese) is ALWAYS on point and hits just the right spot.“
“Ordered their hibachi chicken & steak . It’s not the traditional Japanese Restaurant style of Hibachi but it’s good when you’re on a medium budget . This wasn’t $20.95 for Chicken and Steak like it would at the restaurant. 8.5/10 , yum !“
“Took my family to this place wanted to support a Norfolk business. First off the restaurant was very cold. Cook came out without any personality and barely did any tricks. However the food was amazingly good, I don’t not leave one grain of rice on my plate“
“I was in visiting my daughter who goes to ODU when we stumbled upon Osaka! The atmosphere was very upbeat and the staff were pleasant. Our waitress, Rosslyn, was absolutely a delight! She made sure we were always well taken cared of without being overly insistent! The food was DELICIOUS! We ordered the Chicken Paitain , something our waitress had recommended to us! It was the best ramen I had had in this area! My daughter got pork dumplings and they were very warm and each bite was rich. Over all I would say this experience was spectacular and I would love to just Kudos the Chef and our Waitress!“
“As soon as you walk in your greeted by an absolute wonderful staff that are super friendly and welcoming!The atmosphere is super cool and beautiful just to have a fine meal in ! The waitress gave us suggestions for menu options that were her favorite / freshly gotten that day - and after taking her advice - it was the right choice! - all of her suggestions were amazing and stuff we wouldn't have considered otherwise without the nudge in the right direction! The entire meal was absolutely delightful in every element possible !*Whenever I dine out I often make a lil family or origami cranes for the restaurant to keep and this was also no exception! And I just kept making more and more solely cause I wanted to make sure the entire staff had options of their favorite colors - before long the staff would pass our table and keep getting surprised to see how many more cranes popped up and were absolutely delighted and surprised to hear I was gonna give them all of those cranes today!Next thing I know they showed us a spot to place the lil cranes to display them! And the rest is history !So definitely stop by here for all you first time sushi lovers and expert sushi lovers ! The prices are so friendly and the staff are super friendly ! ✨“
