One Saturday afternoon, my husband and I decided to visit the Virginia Cheese Co. Initially, from the outside, the shop seemed closed, but upon entering, we were pleasantly surprised. The quaint and cute interior, along with the friendly staff, immediately won us over. Despite the chairs being flipped for cleaning, we felt welcomed. I have been walking past this charming place almost everyday since I moved into the area over a year ago. It’s on the Elizabeth River Trail and at a great location. I finally stopped in and tried their pepperoni bread, which I didn’t care for, but have since tried their sandwiches which are very tasty. We have been going to Virginia Cheese Company since Ashtyn opened it... right in the middle of the pandemic which took real courage and commitment.
