“My little sister took me here while I was visiting her for a day. I tried the Gold Rush, and it was undoubtedly one of the best ice creams I've ever had. We bought two pints for the road. “Stopped in after the Irish Festival. Got a mango smoothie with boba, and my husband got a mocha smoothie with boba. It was so good as always. I have been going here for years and wish I lived closer. My husband and I both agree that the sound of the straw pulling in the last drops of our smoothie is the saddest sound ever. It means it's all gone. ?Parking: Park on the street for free or park in Kroger across the street and walk over.“

“I ordered an ice cream cake from here. It was very simple to do, and you can even do it online! You can customize everything that goes into your cake! We did chocolate cake with fudge filling and mint chocolate chip ice cream. It was by far the most delicious ice cream cake I have ever had! It wasn't overly priced even though it was an ice cream cake. Originally, we went to publix and were met with issue after issue trying to order an ice cream cake in store. Then we found Brusters online and realized we could do this very easily, customize the cake the way we want, and pick up when we need all for a reasonable price!! After I ordered, Brusters sent me a text confirming my order was received and an email with my receipt for the order and payment. I have never received any more messages from them or emails! Which is nice since usually when you buy something online, you have agreed to that company spamming you. 2 weeks later, I showed up to pick up my cake. They have a different window for picking up online orders, so you don't have to wait in line behind people trying to order ice cream. The man who helped me was very friendly and asked my name and off he went to get my cake! He even gave me instructions to remove the cake from the freezer 10 minutes before cutting. My son was very happy I came through with the exact cake he wanted! Thank you, Brusters, for making his birthday cake dreams a reality and giving me bonus cool mom points!“
“Check the hours before heading over. The shop has free 3 hr street parking outside if you get lucky. The side has a ramp into the shop. We didn't see much of the bakery today, but the ice cream satisfied two kiddies and a grown up(espresso Oreo). There is a restroom for customers only. Quite a few shops on this street didn't have restrooms. The waffle cones are the familiar brand of "Joy". The shop has many seats and tables inside. The view is Byrd Theatre and the cool shop Bygones. “I was visiting a friend in Richmond and she took me here. It's a really cute place with smoothies and juices. There isn't a place to sit, instead you order at the window. The pricing is reasonable as well. I got a smoothie they had on the menu with banana and almond butter. I don't remember the name but it was fantastic. I was craving it the whole next day. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in town.“

“This place is unassuming, but as far as to-go breakfast is concerned, it is much better than I expected. I had probably the best breakfast burrito I have ever had anywhere (I added tomato and avocado to it), the breakfast sandwich on a bagel was pretty good, as was the thai coffee and the latte. One thing was outstanding (the burrito) and the rest were just slightly above average. The online ordering system was convenient as well.“
“I was happy to see that a Cold Stone Creamery opened locally and visited soon after they opened. Even though they were newly opened and very busy, the service was fast and friendly, and portions were as expected, the establishment was clean, and the quality was very good. We were offered a loyalty card right away, which I like, because who doesn't like a good deal. A couple of weeks later, my family ordered my birthday cake from them and it did not disappoint. It was ready at the appointed time and everybody enjoyed it. We have visited a couple times since then and will continue to be patrons.“
“OK Yall another Hidden Gem. My hunny brought me here for Valentines Day 2024. Well whenever reviewing a Candy spot I usually start with the fudge. NOW before I say this know that I am very picky I had the Chocolate and the Salted Carmel Fudge. Both were good, just not great and it had a funky aftertaste that I could not quite but my hand on. But I also got a Cashew Bear Claw and that was amazing let me tell you. I want to come back and give some other candies and truffles a try.“
“This restaurant is a fantastic authentic Mexican restaurant located near Chester, Virginia. Ran by a Mexican family, there are tons of delicious traditional Mexican snacks and desserts that can be bought. There is also a bakery where you can purchase traditional Mexican baked goods. My friends who are Mexican both enjoyed an Esquite (which is essentially an elote in a cup). I enjoyed a delicious Mangonada while my husband had a coconut popsicle. All of this was so refreshing post hike at the James river walkway on a hot sunny day. The service was very quick although the restaurant was very busy. The vibes were also amazing and there was many diverse groups who came to the restaurant. If I'm back in this area I will definitely be returning.“
