The fried fish was delicious. The macaroni was ok but bland. The greens were tender but were overpowered with sugar. The sweet potatoes were overpowered with something. I believe it was nutmeg. It was so much it was overbearing to the point where I couldn't finish them. We called our order in and picked up. The food was amazing!! Fresh, well seasoned, and great portions. IDK how it only has a couple reviews but it's definitely worth trying. the building looks suspect from the outside and the inside is really small, but with food that great who cares. visiting for another week and I will definitely be back before I leave. I had the turkey wings with Mac and cheese and collards and a side of chittlings.

I abosolutley loved this place. The food was , so delicious. My son and I drove down from Richmond city passing all the other overated soul food spots just to go to this one. All the food was home made i loved the mac n chz and sweet potaoes. The chitterlings were nice and tender and flavorful, the fried fish and spaghetti were spot on. The wife was so sweet. I felt like i was a grandma's house. My new family. Much love.
