Never get a chance to take pictures - the food just really shouldn't be this good & flavorful! A true GEM in Southside! Try it ... especially their homemade Mexican guisos!
Got birria and tamales to go. Tastes so damn good. Hella worth

Food was good and the staff was nice. The prices were high for cafeteria style ordering and dining atmosphere...but the quality was good .... not great but goodVegetarian options: Almost all of the menu can be made vegetarian upon request.

Very friendly service. They asked immediately if we had been in before, and explained the menu. Service was fast, and the food was phenomenal. We had quesabirria tacos and birria ramen, and both were excellent.
Got the Birria taco plate. Very, very good. Also very expensive. Also, might want to have a few less spicy options for us gringos and offer sour cream.

Coming from up north, birria tacos are usually very flavorful but not here. It seems like they are trying to meet the standards of others in the area and don’t put much flavor in it. Also the margarita is non existent. It’s $9 and you don’t taste any alcohol. They have it in a fridge next to the register and it’s already pre packaged. Not sure how long it was there. The birria tacos usually come with cilantro and onion in it unless you don’t want it. I just feel like they need to make focus on the food more bc it’s lacking what a true birria taco really is. The broth was supposed to be spicy and wasn’t.The atmosphere was good and the service was alright. I hope they take this review into consideration and put more seasoning in the food!

I live in Mexico and I go here at least once every time I visit family in Virginia. Doesn't get more authentic than this. They also have menudo.
