What started as a great date and family night on a rainy weekend was RUINED by the intrusive MANAGER of the establishment asking us to leave our table because she wanted to seat another party apparently due to the space being tight in the patio area, and we were using an extra chair for our party, as the restaurant WAS EMPTY when we started our RESERVATION meal. Mind you, our Server, Laura was delightful and attentive to our service. I cannot believe that this is how patrons are treated. Mind you, we had just spent over $300 on our meals, and were waiting on our server to tie up our check and bring us takeaway boxes when this clueless MANAGER made her entrance into our night. I am offended by having what was an otherwise lovely meal obliterated by this passive aggressive behavior . We will NOT be back. It's a shame that delicious food won't outweigh the shoddy MANAGERIAL customer service. (Laura, you were great, give your MANAGER some tips on customer service.)

Absolutely not. We order a cheese plate which was described on the menu as having prosciutto, chorizo, and olives. The picture is what we got. We immediately took the order back in for a refund, we paid $22 with tax and tip, and were told “it was only $16.99” with an attitude. Nope nope nope

Delicious food and wonderful atmosphere! An extremely lovely experience overall. Very accommodating when I requested a dairy free meal. 10/10 The bartender (Justin) and chef (Adam) made the meal even more personable and enjoyable. Thank you!

I'd been here a few times before as a "regular" customer with friends, and it'd always been good, but this rating is based on a work-related outing. We reserved the upstairs dining area for a group of ~20 folks for work. The menu we got to choose from allowed flexibility, the food itself was cooked PERFECTLY (and presented well), and our servers were accommodating. It's now my go-to place in Carytown.

Sat at the bar and had a few appetizers for happy hour. For dinner I had the grouper sandwich with a salad. Good food and the price was fair. Will return when back in Richmond. Bartender and host was nice and inviting.

Great waitstaff and ambiance I know my dining companions enjoyed their entrees... I just wish there had been at least one more vegetarian option for a main! but overall, a great place!

Seven members of my family went here on Saturday Feb 24 to celebrate February Birthdays. Every one of us totally enjoyed our meal and appetizers. We will definitely return.

Love this restaurant. The space is fun yet relaxed and comfortable. Service is always great as is the food. I usually get seafood, but had the ECP burger and it was really good, highly recommend. Looking forward to summer and enjoying their patio.

East Coast is always one of our "go tos". They have a diverse menu that should satisfy a variety of tastes and budgets, and we always enjoy the food. They make some great cocktails and have a pretty good amount of seating--making it easier to get a reservation. We have always had excellent service.

This has been my go to restaurant for years. Have gone for birthday celebrations and just a good lunch. Food was always hot and tasty.

We had a party of six that were attending the theatre. We had a lovely dinner with drinks and each meal was perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. We will definitely be back again!

Salmon was fresh and excellently prepared. Fish tacos were plentiful but needed salsa or something moist. The white fish they contained was breaded. The small salad was disappointing and inedible. The kale salad was all kale and a few croutons. If chicken, which was sparse, had not been added, there would have been no variety to the salad. The burger and fries were good. Our server, Lisa, was wonderful!

Great food and service! Such a cute place. They sat us on the second level near a window overlooking the entrance. It was a little cramped but very comfortable seating. Would definitely go back

Let me start by saying omg this restaurant did not disappoint. The ambiance was great and the service was as well. At the recommendation of alot of reviewers, I tried the octopus as a starter and it was AMAZING. I also tried the truffle parmesan fries and those were great too. Lots of truffle and parmesan throughout along with a delish horseradish aioli dipping sauce. For my entree, I ordered the ribeye which came with brocolinni, and roasted potatoes. All amazing! The drinks were all tasty too. The most important thing for me was the parking situation. If you're lucky enough you can park on the street, if not, don't fret as there's a parking deck super close by.
