I went to Mamas on a Friday night with a group of 5 friends. We were seated in the back by the big windows that face Cary St. the restaurant was mildly busy and we were sat promptly. Ambiance on the inside is great. Lovely decorations and the staff were very friendly.The restaurant near the kitchen in the back where we sat had some kind of smell. I love the food here but I have never had a good service experience.Waited 30 minutes on the patio after being seated and a server never came, had to go inside to ask for one. Took forever to bring anything.Another time just extremely slow, never got my drink, order was wrong, and check took 20+ minutes to come.It's such a shame because their food is delicious.

The food was AMAZING!!! The flavors are rich and complex. Everything flows together nicely. Mia, our server was very attentive and made excellent recommendations. I look forward to coming back.
