We stopped here on a return trip from North Carolina. Outside was very inviting as was the decor of the entire eatery. We selected the beef and chicken enchilada, a beef combo plate, and of course a quesadia for the youngest. Our table was provided with warm chips and a delicious mild salsa that even our finicky youngest liked. Entrees were served quickly, and were wonderful. It’s fine but nothing to write home about. Stayed in the Country Inn next to it on a roadtrip and this place is within 1min walk from the hotel. It serves Mexican dishes that a typical Mexican restaurant would serve. Burrito/fajitas were both decent. Good portion. Prices feel like on the lower side. Pretty busy inside too which is a good sign. Lots of locals. Overall good experience.

Great food and service is second to none. I have been eating at this restaurant and Maria’s El Rodeo since 1986. I keep coming back, my favorite meal is Maria’s Taco Salad. Its the best bar none!
