One of the very best restaurants in Roanoke to me now, even after many years living here, this little place tucked away in Grandin Village eluded me.Their mixed Shawarma is amazing, their falafel and hummas is great, I have yet to be disappointed by anything they have served me. It is a very flavorful cuisine very faithfully prepared.Vegetarian options: Falafel, hummas, grape leaves, many vegetarion options.

I've been to 13 different countries in my time in the service and let me tell you the one thing we all miss. The food. But my need for authentic gyros is slightly edged with Falafel house. The ingredients may not be as fresh or genuine as they are over seas but they nail the taste pretty close. The atmosphere really brought me back as well. The best Mediterranean food in town. Possibly even this side of the state. The owner clearly cares about the quality of both taste and presentation. Goes at his own pace and is a super authentic guy. You come here for amazing food, not a cushy experience. Be prepared for squeaky booths, no small talk, and the absolute best shawarma you've probably had in a long time.
