“Excellent meal! I had a club sandwich and my husband had a wrap. They were both generous portions and they were delicious. We were so full, but we definitely wanted to try their desserts, so we each got a brownie to go. Kathy was an excellent server!“
“Ayana (I hope I spelled her name correctly) came to the rescue when our waitress decided to walk past our table many times and only help her other tables. I commend Ayana for stepping in and serving us when our original waitress did not. Ayana was very sweet and we will be back to see her in the future!“
“First, let me say that I don't pay much attention to atmosphere, but you're going here for the food! The Tacu Tacu con Mariscos was very good, nice seasoned, with ample sauce (we like sauce!). The Jalea de Mariscos was perfectly deep-fried, with a good assortment and a tasty tartar sauce. Their Lomo Saltado was spot-on. Flan was good, as was the alfajor. Inka was a very enjoyable experience. It was our first visit, and the food was delicious. We will return.“
“Loved this place! Great food. Unique restaurant in downtown Roanoke. It wasn’t very busy… we were the only ones here, which didn’t make a ton of sense because it was so delicious and a great experience. I hope to see more people in here next time! We will definitely be back.“
“DO NOT MISS OUT. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming, perfect for date night or to treat yourself to a good meal. The escargot was the best we've EVER had. Calamari so perfectly crispy and tender. The filet mignon was so tender and just melts in your mouth. The prime rib perfectly cooked. I wish I had room for desert.. Suzie was so attentive and made sure we had everything we needed during our visit. 10000/10 We'll definitely be back“
“My Mom lives here at Friendship Manor. Club Friendship is in the resident's center and is open weekdays. Mom likes being able to walk to the cafe and seems to prefer it over having someone take her off campus to eat out.The staff are very friendly and get to know the clientele by name. I get hugs when I visit. (I've been coming to visit several times a year for 20 years.)The menu is relatively inexpensive and is suitable for nearly everyone.“
“Absolute RAVE!! Our waitress was amazing, the owner is so sweet. The food and drinks are out of this world. Would recommend this spot to everyone, it makes for the perfect date night. Our order: Short Rib w/greens and fingerling potatoes, Dirty Rice & Black Beans w/chicken, and 2 Raspberry White chocolate cheese cake slices.“
“My favorite place to eat in Roanoke because they have a model train running around the interior. Kids of all ages will like. Salad bar is good, maybe could use a few more selections, I don't know. It just doesn't seem like it has a lot. Nacho/Taco bar, salad, and other prepared salads with a dessert bar. I can't put my finger on what's missing so I'm not going to downgrade a star. All kinds of cool train decor on a restaurant centered around a restored locomotive that sometimes calls Roanoke home.Parking: Lots of parking on siteKid-friendliness: Trains, trains, trains! Did I mention trains!!!“
“Great spot in a convenient location! Of course the tacos were wonderful, but the crab dip was also out of this world. My husband and I got a variety of tacos & they were all delicious. The fried plantains were perfectly cooked and I loved the spicy rice & beans. We look forward to returning.“
“This place is awesome! Our server was so sweet and friendly ! I got the ritz cocktail and it was light and tasty , calamari was delicious as always with the light batter and awesome sauce with it ! I always get my favorite lamb shank , it was incredible, Fall off the bone lamb and so delightful! And then for the dessert the crème brûlée ! The atmosphere is romantic and upscale ! I always feel special here. Thank you Billys!“
“First time dining here. Prices are very reasonable and wonderful service. The shrimp cocktail was very nice, with 6 large shrimp served in a fishbowl type glass with lemon wedge and parsley. My only complaint is that the cocktail sauce was a bit bland. I don't like really spicy food, but it needed a bit more horseradish and zip to it.We also ordered the bacon wrapped scallops. They were very tasty, good smoky bacon. But with scallops, just a couple seconds too long cooking makes them rubbery. These were done just a little too long. But very edible. My dining partner had the clam chowder which was thick and quite tasty, loaded with clams. He also had the ribeye with shrimp. The steak was done to his favorite rare and the broiled shrimp were good.I had the broiled grouper. It was seasoned very well and tasty. I would have preferred it cooked just a little more than opaque with a little crisper crust, but it was ok. Baked potato was large and tasty. The hush puppies were good, not greasy. Our salads were fresh and had nice fresh veggies in them. The nautical decor inside is fun. We will definitely go back again for our seafood fix.“
“Were there on a Friday mid-afternoon in January. Not too busy when we arrived. This is our kind of establishment for laid back, blue jeans on a Friday. Atmosphere was relaxed. Plenty of TV'S hanging. Seemed to be some regulars that were all relating with each other and having a good time. Food was very good and plentiful. Prices were very fair. Great place.“
“We've been looking forward to coming here for a while and finally came today to celebrate our anniversary early and an early Valentine’s Day. I got the fried chicken sliders with a side of corn on the cob, my boyfriend got the make your own catch with snow crab legs, Lobster tail, and clam and we got the hushpuppies appetizer. Everything tasted so good and fresh. The corn is probably the best we've had. Our waitress Krystal is great at her job and always made sure we had drinks and everything we needed. We will definitely be back asap.“
