It is not easy to run a cafe short handed.I had the chuckhouse with potatoes and coleslaw. It was well woth the short waiting time.This is one place you need to visit and bring your friends.”

Call to place orders and they are baked every Tuesday or Wednesday and then it is pickup, mail order, or delivery on Thursday. Last minute orders may not be accommodated. “Visited Val's for the first time today to grab a bite to eat before seeing a movie. Everyone there was SUPER friendly and welcoming. They were patient as we figured things out and my family enjoyed our meal! We had some fried chicken, mac and cheese, sweet potato pudding, and collard greens. All delicious. I got the Turkey Sandwich with Fries and let me tell you it was the best Turkey Sandwich I've ever had, the turkey was as they advertised "dang good" and the way it was fixed looked just the way it's advertised in the photos online. And also the fries were fresh, hot and of great quality! The fact that they offer the best of the best food as well as strongly supporting our veterans is a win/win as it is a restuarant worth supporting this noble cause!
