“Absolutely beautifully designed building, great location and good service! I have been craving Bojangles since relocating back to the East Coast but have been let down almost everytime with my visits in NC and VA. Well, not anymore! For the first time in quite a long time, the food was absolutely delicious. The biscuits were perfection, the fries were hot/fresh and well seasoned but they still gave me extra seasoning and didn't give me a hard time about my request. I spoke with the drive thru attendant and apparently this place just opened a year ago. It's so beautiful and it has 2 drive thru lines! never saw one with 2 lines! Will definitely be back! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!”

“We stopped here because of a 5 star Yelp rating. What a wonderful place to eat. Incredibly clean! You notice that right off! And the manager was diligently cleaning and clearing tables. The food was delicious. Didn't quite get a picture, we dug in to fast. My husband had a country omelette-the biggest I have ever seen! Two pancakes came with it, whoops didn't pay attention. And Sausage! He says all was very good! I had the 2x2x2. Two eggs scrambled, two pancakes, two pieces of bacon. All tasty and cooked perfectly! The price was cheap! All in all, a very good experience at our first IHOP Express on our way to FL. AND THE SYRUP BOTTLES WERE IMMACULATE”

“Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon once we finished up a softball tournament in Emporia. We shocked the staff with a party of 30, mostly 9 year olds, with no warning. The staff handled themselves and the situation with the utmost professionalism that was greatly appreciated by our entire party. I'm fairly certain we were in and out in less than an hour and a half. To me, that speaks volumes to the leadership of the place. The food was great. Service was great. The atmosphere was perfect! The other parents and myself couldn't have been more pleased with our experience and we will definitely return when we are in the area again! My 3 year old throughly enjoyed the wings!”

“This is a pretty run-of-the-mill Subway good for stopping at on a road trip. The service staff was nice and did their job and the food was good. I liked that it was connected to bathrooms and a separate convenience store. Great place to refuel yourself when you're refueling at the gas station next door.”

“BEST BURRITO EVER!!It was a little hard to find, unfortunately our gps took us to the building next door, and unfortunately no signs out front. However once we found it, omg! I ordered the burrito Victoria, it had beef, shrimp, and chicken in it, along with rice and all kinds of ingredients. The biggest burrito ever!! However it was by far the best tasting burrito that I've ever eaten! And I've had a lot of burritos in my time, this is a great place to grab a cheap quick bite. They have $4 meals!!! So perfect! Affordable and yummy can't beat that! Definitely will be back again and again!”

“"Decent Italian near intersection of I-95 and VA-58 in Emporia" Right beside a gas station and a motel on VA-58, right off I-95 in Emporia, sits this little spot. I'd driven by it many times and usually hit up the decent Mexican place in the motel next door, but my family wanted Italian, so we tried it. It did not disappoint. The place has pizza and lots of Italian standards, and it's very brightly lit with a few of much of the kitchen from the entry counter. As we entered, it was a little unclear whether we were supposed to order at the counter or be seated, so we ordered at the counter and then they asked us to take a seat and pay afterwards. The folks were friendly, and service didn't take too long. I ordered a chicken parmigiana, and my family got similar dishes. Food came out in maybe 10 minutes. The quantity was LARGE. I got many pieces of chicken, a heaping amount of spaghetti, and a side-salad with bleu cheese dressing. The salad was pretty standard -- nothing fancy. I liked the chicken parm and spaghetti sauce. The sauce was a little sweet, which I like, but my wife was less pleased with the sweetness of the sauce on her dish. Price was fair-- it's not dirt-cheap Italian, but it was also better quality than that. The chicken parm was something like $17, which for the quantity and good quality, is reasonable. This'll be in our rotation when we drive through that area in the future!”

“Ima be straight up with you. If you can’t make it to this particular Hardees In Gaston NC, it’s best you go home and cook. I have yet to find another Hardees that can match this one. I get food from here, it’s how it’s suppose to be. I go to other Hardee’s and the food is cold and taste like it was cooked before I arrived. I’m typing this review right now from a Hardees in Rocky Mount NC wishing I was In Gaston where my meal would have been correct. I tell them I want hot fries and they cook them Hot with no hesitation. I can’t explain why they can always get it right and EVERY other Hardee’s is garbage.”

I had a chili cheese dog (the hot dog was red .. never tried those before) and a hot grilled ham and cheese with French fries … Rock had Philly Cheesesteak with Onion Rings. Total cost for all that food and 2 soft drinks was $27. They had homemade pies… but we were too full for dessert.. thanks to all the ladies working and making our first and probably only visit!!”

Probably the cleanest subway I've seen, the staff were absolutely perfect quick and super friendly and the sandwich was insanely good...it's been more than two decades since I've been to a subway this good. Everyone there deserves a huge raise, this is how subway is done right ?”
