Agni is a simple and unpretentious South Indian restaurant in Sterling. We met for lunch during the week as we were in the mood for Dosas. We started off the meal with 2 appetizers: Pakoda and Kuzhi Paniyaram. These came with 3 different chutneys. I had never tasted the latter dish before and quite enjoyed it. Pleasantly surprised by the quality of this restaurant. The service was very mediocre, but the cilantro chicken, as well as the goat dishes were quite unique. Will certainly come back.

We saw their great review in Washingtonian and decided to try them out. The food was delicious, so good! I ordered the Butter Chicken, my wife ordered the Goat Biryani and we shared an egg Dosa. The butter chicken was great, so much chicken. I was worried I saw reviews saying how little they received, but mine had around 30-40 pieces of chicken, way more than I could eat.
