We always visit Carrabbas on vacation. Did not disappoint ! Bread and oilSalad, love the dressings! Pasta dishes were delicious and for a first tried the Tuscan chicken. It was done just right! Wish we had one close to home .

Aaffga ..

Ordered chicken picatta and couldn't get myself to eat more than one piece of chicken. Ridiculously oily and the flavor I did not like. Lentil and sausage soup too spicy to enjoy. Location seems clean.

I was with a party of five. 4 ordered the trio dish I had the chops. Everyone liked their food. As a matter of fact I'm the only who needed a to go bag. One persons steak was kinda tough. In all fairness they offered to recook it but she was hungry. Like I said everyone ate all of their food. I only wish I had ordered the dressing on the side w my salad. It was doused in Italian dressing-that made it to strong. Otherwise my Blackberry Sangria was good. Service was fine. It was nice that the manager does visit tables too!

Where to begin. I've been to this location several times thru the years and everything has always been tasty and a great experience. This time however... let's start that it was a Friday night, I went with call ahead seating thinking it would be packed. We walked in and it was dead at 7:30 pm. I thought ok cool should be a great experience since they're not slammed. The hostess was the only redeeming part of this experience. I watched her hustling cleaning tables greeting guests and helping to-go and other servers. We were sat with Jordan. We looked over the menu wile we waited probably about 15 minutes before being greeted. Not that big a deal, maybe she was busy. When she finally came over she set down a whole stack of dirty dishes on the clean table next to us. She was friendly. We ordered waters and an app. Took another 10 minutes or so to get our waters which she manhandled the rim of the glass which is just gross not knowing where her hands were, or if she washed them since handling dirty dishes. She said she put our app in and would be right back to take our order. Again waited prob 15 minutes for her to come back. As a former server for over a decade I give a lot of leniency when I know someone is busy but she had no more that three tables including us the entirety of the time we were there. She came back to take our order smelling like cigarettes so I guess a smoke break was more important? Our app comes out luke warm by a food runner or possibly a kitchen manager, I was starved after being there for roughly 45 minutes so I ate it. Flavor ok but again was probably sitting getting cold cause no one would run it. Jordan brought out our salad and soup. A few min later our meals came. When I tell you this was the worst alfredo sauce I've ever had!! I worked at Olive Garden for years so I know a thing about crappy Italian food and this sauce could have probably been made better at a gas station, bland as Hell, no seasoning and the noodles under the chicken were a ball of dried congealed mush. The chicken was tasty, that was the only redeeming part, but overall not good at all. Again luke warm and not pleasant. Jordan checked on us, we asked for boxes and she came back with her hands full, with her fingers all over the inside of the box and the check inside the to go box, didn't even put it on the table or a carrier. So then we are waiting and waiting for her to come get the check and when she does I ask for a little sauce to go so I can try to doctor this mess up at home. All in all we spent about 2 hours waiting for everything in a half dead restaurant. Bonus, at 2 am I was stuck on the toilet because I clearly ate something dirty, probably from Jordan not washing her hands and manhandling every aspect of our meal or the luke warm food. We have come here through the years for special occasions or nights out and it's been great but post pandemic this place has turned into a low grade Applebee's. Save yourself a night on the toilet and avoid this place. Shame cause I used to really like this place.

If you like Carrabba's, this is one of the good ones. The food and service were great.

Father's Day 6:30pm - they were short staffed. With 5 tables (no exaggeration) of maybe 3-4 ppl per table. Wait was about 45 mins. When they called us in, the place was EMPTY!! With only 2 tables full. Incredible!!! Service from waitress was amazing and the food was excellent- as usual. Never experienced such long wait for an empty restaurant. I observed plenty of staff in the kitchen area and out in the floor.

We have been going to this Virginia Beach Carrabba's for many years. The food has always been tasty and very delicious. The staff are usually friendly, attentive, and check on you several times to see if you need anything. However, there have been times where we have gotten a waiter/waitress who was not very good. For instance, we've had to remind them that we were missing a food item or that we would like another drink. Thankfully this is very rare. We continue to go to Carrabba's because the food is very, very good. It's a little pricey but not too expensive. Would definitely recommend this restaurant!

When I went to find a place to eat for Mother's Day, I remembered about carrabba's. When I went to pick up my order from the pick up door, it still was not ready by the time I got there (which I was late to) they then said that they would get me when my order was ready. Keep in mind I was late. 40 minutes after I arrived, a worker arrived to tell me that it was almost ready and 5 minutes later I was heading back to my house. Carrabba's is good and all, but this is just annoying.

I was just disappointed with the meatballs they were very mushy and not very tasty. I think frozen meatballs would have been better.

After a long wait at Maggie McFly's to even be greeted and seated, we decided to leave and try another restaurant. I'm so glad that we tried Carrabba's! We were greeted right away by a friendly hostess. Our waitress was also super friendly, attentive, and gave us great recommendations. I wish I remembered her name, she was excellent! (I remember she was tall. ) The food came out in a timely manner and it was all delicious. Their calamari appetizer was our favorite.

Was just visiting the area for a cheer competition and decided to go to the mall between time we noticed a Carrabba's Italian Grill nearby and went to dine. Upon entering the restaurant it was very clean and neat. For me I am still on the fence about mask wearing so the fact no employee is wearing one is hayyy just me Took no time for our order to arrive. The pork chop was very well prepared and very tasty. I had the Mahi and was delicious. Will return if I am in the area again.

Carrabba's never disappoints with its classic dishes. We visited on 2/18, and the Valentine's special of 4 course for $60 was still available, so we went with that. Mozzarella and Marinara was hit, gooey and delicious. My Chicken Soup was just perfect, and our entrees of Lasagna and Chicken Bryan were great as well. The ONLy thing that could use a little tweak is the Berries and Butter Cake. Although delicious, the berries were completely frozen, and we had to mix them up in the whip and ice cream in order to make them edible. And it should have been served with spoons instead of forks in my opinion. Overall a very nice meal.

Stopped by for a weeknight family dinner, upon entering the restaurant I noticed everything looked super clean! Our server did an amazing job, kept out drinks full and brought bread twice. I ordered shrimp and scallops linguine a la vodka and it did not dissapoint. Shrimp and scallops were very flavorful. Everyone enjoyed their meal. My husband had the linguine positano with shrimp. One kid ordered penne mac n cheese and the other one grilled chicken breast with fries. Everything was cooked to perfection. Definitely we will be returning.

Tuesday dec. 14, total $85.70 I got the chicken Alfredo, a very typical order for me... this time is was far below par. The chicken tastes like burnt metal.... imagen a very strong iron taste on very dry yet somehow watery chicken.... I ate about half a peice of the chicken. The Alfredo, yuck. Honestly I've never been a huge fan of tomato based sauces but I would have gladly eaten any style of sauce over this. It was sour. It was overly greasy. This is the third time we have eaten at Carabbas in 2 months. But I can say it will be a long time before I am willing to come in paying almost $100 for a meal, which for at least my portion tastes worse than the $1.25 bags of instant Alfredo you can buy at literally any grocery store. Maybe it's just this location.... but this was disgusting. TO BE FAIR: Husband got a seafood marinara style pasta which he enjoyed, ***while he has requested angel hair it came with the original noodle style***. Said it wasn't the best but was good I cannot remember what our guest ordered, we included his meal on our tab be did seem happy with it.
