The waitress/owner was very friendly and down to earth and made me feel super comfortable. Also Uncle Als has a very laid back atmosphereKid-friendliness: They have a cool lil baby duck machine that I was told about but didn't actually check out myself but being a big kid at heart, I totally wanted to hit the machine bc it's a winner everytime
