Me and my mother arrived for our 0630PM reservation slightly early, but were still seated and greeted by our waitress pretty quickly. After ordering two mocktails, we noticed one roach had crawled on the table and onto the menu, and another was behind the mocktail menu. Very disappointed because we had been looking forward to trying this food! After telling the hostess, they looked very apologetic! We didn’t stay to see if they had cleaned the table or immediately sat another party.If our waitress sees this, sorry that we left without receiving our drinks! We were just spooked. I hope the owner can rectify this issue, I haven’t seen any other review with roaches so I’m hoping this is not the standard!

Had a great time at Hot Tuna. Drinks are on point and the seafood is amazing. Came once with some friends and another time with my wife. Cool beach restaurant vibes with outdoor, patio and inside bar seating. The servers and host are all friendly. Many specials on food and drinks on different days as well as live music. My new watering hole!

Cute restaurant/bar in VA Beach. Loved the fireplace tables outdoors (didn't get to use them cause it was raining). Indoor atmosphere is local bar to the right and restaurant dining to the left. Loved the interesting decor. Our server was adorable, attentive, and made good recommendations. The apple salad with salmon was very good - a tad pricey though, for such a small piece of salmon ($24). The spinach artichoke dip was a little bland but the hand cut chips were excellent. The grilled avocado was very good with some kind of spice on the avocado. The ice cream cookie deserts were ok. Overall, I loved the atmosphere and the food was good enough for a return visit. There were a lot of other menu items that sounded good but we couldn't try them all in one visit!

Food was great! Got take-out, atmosphere and service can only comment on in passing. They were out of muscles, so person called me shortly after I placed online order. We substituted for oysters Rockefeller. I really wanted oysters to start, so good. Turned out that daughter that just wanted canned soup, loved the oysters. Wife loved the steak. I loved the she crab soup and what scraps I could get. Everybody was happy, and I am happy that everybody had some love of the local cuisine (as well as the beautiful sunset etc.) I'd drive back to give the cooks appreciation, but I have a full warm belly... hopefully this will reach them. This dinner really made/ capped off a nice evening.

Great vibe, went with a party of 10 we had reservations the hostess was pleasant however made us wait at front entrance with zero standing room for the entire party to arrive which we explained they were all there and then she asked us to go to the bar we had a large group and a child kind of weird we would go stand around a bar when our table was ready and we could see it from the hostess stand?! Food was average, she crab soup not even close to par as well as the crab dip best part was the pretzel it was served with. Calamari was great! Entrees were cold. Drinks & Wine were great! Server was great! All in all prices are very on point with what you get! Would try again for drinks and apps only.
