Cool local pub with a great menu and beer selection. Portions were large, menu items were unique, and our server was excellent. The fried pickle chips are so good, the tater tots are a must, and for dessert the s'more sundae is a definite (to share!) Free refills on soda and a typical local bar atmosphere with dark lighting and monitors on the walls. Very good experience.
First time visiting with friends and I really liked large menu. The food was ok. I have bbq chicken nachos which were good and then followed up with fish tacos and was not very impressed. Our service was great and the atmosphere was very nice. Seems like a nice place to go on a warm day. I will try this place again.Parking: Park was difficult maybe because it was a Sunday around lunch time

If you are looking for a place to sit outside and enjoy the weather... New River Taphouse is a good bet. They do not have the overhead shades any longer. You can bring your dog, so they can enjoy the outing as well. Our server was nice... she was in training but she was helpful. The prices were acceptable. The deck was clean. There is a large selection of beer and wine. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
