Excellent location and ambience. Staff was very friendly and good!Menu is priced for a budget friendly all the way to celebration pricing. Overall prices were very fair considering free light music entertainment on a Sunday brunch opening. We had the porch burgers with fries and it was absolutely delicious! Lettuce must have been locally sourced. Delicate delicious and fresh! Kudos to the chef!We also had the crab dip and it was absolutely delicious!!Everything was wonderful! It was not super busy at opening at 11:30 but quickly started to fill up!If you are looking for a great waterside coastal themed restaurant, this is your place!

I buy my lunch salads at Whole foods due to the choice and the thought making a better choice than hamburgers. Nice store.

I'm obsessed with The Porch. The atmosphere of this place is great and so inviting! Marvelous menu and wonderful Veggie Burger. Staff ensured every thing was okay. The Porch rocks.

I went to whole foods today and was alarmed by my bill. I wrote it off, thinking that the store was just a lot more expensive than other grocery stores. However, when I got to my car I looked at the receipt and realized I was charged an extra $200 for 35lbs of chicken. The weirdest thing is that I did not purchase ANY chicken. I went back in and got a refund but the whole thing seemed a little dishonest. Seems like a big mistake to miss.

I love coming here and ordering a cold glass of their current Sauvignon blanc and either getting a fresh salad from the salad bar or ordering a burger and fries. It's family friendly so I bring my 1 year old and he enjoys the ambiance.

we don't get to the 'Big City' very often, so I looked forward to the experience of going to Whole Foods--well so disappointed- The produce was awful, or non-existent. Shelves were empty. I will do better at the local food lion or Kroger. Not the same. I like Amazon, but they have destroyed Whole Foods.

We love going here. We don't get a lot of items from here each time we shop but we get maybe $50 to $80 bucks worth usually. It is pricey compared to other grocery stores and Trader Joe's but some things you can only find here. I really love the fresh produce, fresh peanut butters, food to go, eat-in kitchen/area, bakery, fresh pasta/cheese (I love Italian food), etc. We have eaten in here a few times and always liked the food. We will probably eat in here again in the future. I usually grab some fresh Italian ingredients for pasta, fresh baked goods, some dry goods, and usually some candy to try out and other random items. They had a sample of an ice cream sandwich last time and it was delish. I love when they have samples available. It is such a great idea for customers. I will be back again, like always.

The Porch is the sorriest excuse for a “business”. Employees often leave with nothing in hand and do not get breaks (food or restroom) and are not permitted to drink water during several hours long shifts. Managers are blatantly disrespectful to, and take advantage of, employees often using the fear of VA being a “right to hire and fire” state as a scare tactic to prevent employees from reporting their extremely poor practices. Because of this, they are unable to keep employees, except for those who are “afraid to burn bridges”. There is an obvious racial divide regarding scheduling as well; the likelihood of a server, bartender, or hostess being blonde haired and blue eyed during peak hours is inevitable while anyone else is typically scheduled during slower hours (likely not to make any tips) or in areas where costumers are less likely to sit (outside patio during rain or high heat). There is absolutely nothing that serious about ensuring bougie people get their midday drink and overpriced food fix to allow these horrible “business” practices to continue. I would have reported to Better Business Bureau, but they are “conveniently” not listed.

Service was really bad after a long wait with empty tables everywhere. The food was good overall but not worth the wait.

A little light on the prepared foods. Fruit was awesome. Otherwise typical Whole Foods vibe. Cashier was helpful when we could not get my Amazon Prime to scan.

Although this isn't a large store, it carries most of items for a daily basis household. You can't go wrobg with their quality and variety.

Not sure why we ended up here but it wasn't pleasant. Save your money - go elsewhere.

(Third time posting this review. The first time I put in under Whole Foods, and moderators removed it and said it needed to be under The Porch. So I posted it under The Porch, and now it was removed because it sounded too ambiguous. Apparently people couldn't tell if I meant the porch or not. So here we go again.) Whole Foods is always a great place to shop for quality cuts of meat and fish. However the main downside is that the majority of their seating is now gone and the only place to sit and eat is in THE PORCH. Last night my daughter and I bought food at THE PORCH and there is no where to sit in THE PORCH. There are only six tables on THE PORCH and one table was being used by people for their own private business meeting having purchased apparently no food or drink whatever. At another table in THE PORCH a family was sitting with three pizzas inboxes just hanging out for about a half hour at THE PORCH. Not sure why they want the pizzas to get cold. Whole foods needs to figure out a better way to provide seating in THE PORCH for their customers who have purchased food and are there to eat it in THE PORCH.
