“My daughter and I visited Tira's today, unaware that it was a Vietnamese restaurant. We were in search of lumpia, but Google had other plans. ? The gentleman that met us at the counter explained the differences between the Vietnamese eggroll and lumpia. We decided to give it a shot and I couldn't be more happy with our order! The egg rolls were fresh and amazing! The gentleman and young lady we spoke with were SO WARM AND GENUINE! The decor and gifts were So cute and inviting! They also have the biggest money tree I've ever seen in my life! It's really impressive! The whole experience was wonderful and we will definitely be back!!!“

“I ordered 2 types of Bahn mi. There was little to no meat on either sandwiches. I asked for extra pickeled items it was basic of what I get at other restaurants and they charged me 1.25 for extra. only one tiny spear of cucumber. I loved the reviews but was highly disappointed with the out come. the restaurant less than a mile away is much better mommy mom was 100× better and offer more vietnamese food.“

“This is one of my go to places for Pho. Their broth is definitely on point, rich, savory, and not too salty. We don't often sit down to eat here but the times that we do, the service is prompt and very friendly. A great recommended place for noodles.“

Special Pho

“We saw some Yelp reviews and decided to try out this pho restaurant, which is quite close to our house. We've been to Pho 79 downtown and also Viet Bistro out on Laskin Road, so we had a pretty high bar for this restaurant to clear. I'm happy to say that they did very well and this is our now our #2 ranked Pho restaurant we've ever been to. Nice work! The outside of the restaurant looks a little questionable because it's a very narrow storefront. However, when you go inside it's very deep so there's plenty of seating. Lots of booze and also tables so they can accommodate large parties but you can also have just two folks in a booth without people right on top of them. My wife and I both had Bowls Of Pho. I had the round steak, which is always my go-to, and my wife had both round steak and flank. We also ordered egg rolls as appetizers and shared them. We were both happy with the quality of the broth which is really the most important part of a good bowl of pho. It was a large portion in the bowl with plenty of rice noodles, steak, green onion as you would expect. We did both experience that there were portions of the rice noodles that were startingly sweet. Possibly they used rock candy for the sugar and it hadn't fully dissolved? Regardless it was more of a curiosity than a problem as the overall bowl was not sweeter than expected. They had the regular plate of add-ons including Bean sprouts, jalapeno, fresh basil, and thin cut onion. Overall, we both appreciated that the meat was the properly medium rare that brings out the best flavor. For appetizers we had the egg rolls with sweet and sour sauce. They were well cooked without the mushy layer that seems to happen at places that use frozen egg rolls. So that gave us the feeling that they were freshly made. The chopped meat was flavorful as were the vegetables. Definitely a good choice for an appetizer. We really enjoyed our first trip to this restaurant and I know that we'll be back. Even though it doesn't beat out Viet Bistro (our fav) it's very close and 2 minutes from my house instead of 20. It's going to make the cut as my as my pho restaurant of choice due to the great food and location.“
