“Good local spot in the most unlikely place. Stopped in on Sunday afternoon around 1:30, not busy and we were the only table. We ordered General Tso's, Sesame Chicken, Chicken Lo Mein, Cream Cheese Wonton, and Shrimp Egg Rolls. The food was freshly made and served hot, large portions. Food quality was good but taste was average. Atmosphere was good as was the service, very nice people. Prices were about what we expected, 46 dollars for 3 meals with drinks, extra egg rolls, and the wontons. We would definitely eat here again if in the area and wanting Chinese, probably wouldn't go out of the way to travel here and eat though. Worth a try if you're nearby.”

“The first time I ate here, there were a few errors in my order. There were also a few touches the food could have used as well. The service was not so hot, and the atmosphere felt tense. Instead of giving up on a new local business, I decided to give them another chance. I'm so glad I did! In my next visit, my waitress, lael, did a fantastic job! My food was hot and delicious. The patrons in the diner were all chatting and laughing. Check out this little place. Make sure to leave room for desert because you're going to want a piece of their cheesecake! “This location is typically WAY better than most of the other local stores. I've ate at this particular location literally my entire existence and it has ranged from 0-5 *. My mother worked here back in 1985 when I was conceived and her co-workers nicknamed me "whopper Jr." they would also joke and say that "it" happened in the parking lot. ?”

“Nick’s Restaurant is fantastic! Beautiful, clean environment from the table to the bathrooms. The service was great! Ask for Blake, he has a great personality and takes excellent care of his tables. The food was awesome! The chicken and waffles are delicious, but my personal favorite is the Tennessee 2 Step Sandwich. Perfectly fried chicken, fried onions, sliced jalapeños, ranch, and pimento cheese, all this makes for the perfect bite. Also ask for some blue cheese on the side, you won’t regret it.Parking: Plenty of parking all around the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu, and an awesome outdoor hangout/play area. The outdoor area has a putting green and several different outdoor games for the whole family to enjoy.”

“Beautiful view of Holston River. We had the beer batter mushrooms for an appetizer. They were mushroom pieces instead of whole which was different but still yummy. We both had the Alaskan halibut grilled. I had Mac n cheese and my partner had a baked potato. The entrees came with salad and we had blue cheese dressing which tasted homemade. The only food item I didn’t care for were the hush puppies, but I’m not a fan in general. We both also had mixed drinks which were very good. Rachel provided great service. Food came out quickly. We were celebrating my birthday and I highly recommend.”

“The pupusas are incredible! Lots of interesting filling options for the adventurous, and some basic options for those who are not. I had chorizo, chicharon, and loroco with a hibiscus tea. All of this was delicious! Service was excellent too!”

“I haven't even finished eating and I just had to give a review. I would eat anything this woman put in front of me. We had the jerk chicken and the oxtail and OMG I'm hooked. The patties are so flaky and delicious. The food comes out hot and fast. I can't wait to come back and try something different and take a jerk chicken plate to go too. “I can't even accurately describe how awesome this place is. The ice cream was amazing (even if it does look like Easter Bunny poop ?). My friend had recommended that I go here for the longest time and I finally ended up accompanying them. Unfortunately, we did end up getting there a few minutes after they had closed but they STILL served us without hesitation. (I'm so sorry about that btw. )The inside is so cute! “Being an out of towner, I wanted to try a good local bagel spot. I walk in the front door, and am immediately greeted with a “welcome” and smile by Dominik. I was planning on grabbing a bagel and coffee to go, but decided to stay and eat in simply because Dominik’s vibe was so positive. He helped me decided on the Veggie Lovers bagel which turned out to be delicious, and made me a 5/5 cappuccino.”

“Great food selections. I personally love the chicken fettuccine minus the peas and mushrooms. The prime rib sandwich is one of the better that we've had out and I highly recommend the Mac and cheese. The bread is great but comes with honey oleo. You can ask butter, but really, it is that nasty oleo margarine. You can ask for real butter, but what they have in the kitchen is unsalted butter they cook with. Good bread at higher end restaurants, I would expect a great butter (soft) with it. That's my only complaint.”

Before I placed my order, I called to ask about gluten free and was greeted and told she just got done quizzing the kitchen staff about gluten free items. When we ordered, I called and reminded them my order is to be gluten free. And did they SUCCEED. I even received a HAND WRITTEN gluten free menu. This has to be one of the best gluten free experiences I have had and with equally tasty food.Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating to those with Celiac Disease.”

“It was great stopping by the original pals and the service was sudden and friendly as well as it just being the best fast food hands down. Ive ate at many pals drive throughs and its all been great sudden service with the best fast food and the original pals walking in was just remarkable. I have to mention the staff was very professional and very hard workers with an employee outside sweeping the area and taking care of things outside as well as carrying out business professionally on the inside.”
