“Being from the Philadelphia area we know good Italian food. Well Maurizio’s in Williamsburg, VA of all places has some of the best Italian food. This has been a family owned and run business for 2 generations now. There is legit nothing on their menu that will disappoint. Prices are great for the high quality and amount of food you get. Do yourself a favor and make this a must stop location if ur in that neck of the woods.“
“We really enjoyed our dinner at Sal's. My mom has Celiac, and they offered gluten free options for her to enjoy. I had the tortellini and thought it was delicious (and a very generous portion size!) We also really enjoyed the burrata. The atmosphere is okay, but not very relaxing or indicative of fine dining. We had lots of loud patrons around us and overall it was extremely bright inside.“
“My family ate at Olde Town Pizza & Pasta while on vacation in Williamsburg. As a native New Yorker, if you had told me I would find some of the best NY style pizza I've had in Virginia I would have called you crazy. We ordered garlic knots, garlic bread with cheese, and mozzarella sticks. The garlic knots were incredibly fresh and obviously made from the same delicious dough as the pizza. We ordered a large pizza to share-the dough was very tender and the toppings were at just the right ratio. The desserts were good although not the highlight for us. If we return to Williamsburg in the future Olde Town will be on our dinner list again for sure! Highly recommend for a great family-friendly dinner!“
“I'm late on this review. We went around Christmas time. On the way to Busch Gardens for the Christmas lights. Which I will also review. I have to say that this was the most delicious pizza I have ever eaten in my life. My bf happens to know the owner and has worked on his hvac and refrigeration years ago when they were smaller. There were 4 of us in our group. We shared a large pepperoni pizza. Despite the line out the door that night we got our pizza and we were eating within 30 minutes. Want to warn you if you see a table open have a member of the party grab it lol unless you plan to eat outside on the curb or car. Lol. The bathrooms were surprising clean and well stocked despite the amount of traffic coming thru. I have told everyone I know going in that direction that you absolutely will not be disappointed.“
“The food was good but way overpriced. I had a bowl of noodles with some chopped chicken, sausage, garlic, and marsala sauce and it was $26. It wasn't that great.BUT, other people in our party loved their food and said even though it was $$ it was worth it. So YMMV.The garlic bread was just ok. I'm a fan of garlic knots myself and was disappointed they didn't have that. The service was exceptional though. I can't remember our waiters names but they were both so friendly and made us feel at home.3.5 Stars overall.“
“Pizza was pretty good. They have several higher end ingredients for anyone who doesn't want a plain pizza. The person working acted like we were bothering him to be there. ?♀️ Didn't rate the atmosphere, this is definitely a to-go spot.“
“We had the pizza combo (2 slices of cheese and drink for 9.00) and one slice of buffalo chicken and one slice of pickle/chicken/bacon pizza. So good. Never thought I’d eat pizza with pickle but wow…it was so yummy! You also need to try the chocolate chip cream cake! To die for!!! All around great restaurant!“
“Our food was outstanding!!! We are very picky about Italian food and this place exceeded our expectations. We had cheese ravioli and Spaghetti with meat sause. All I can say is it was amazing!! The only disappointment was i could only give them 5 stars.“
“We love a slice and a salad here. Great variety and delicious tastes. The owner is a character and is very lively. The seating is at a premium and on a cold day, anywhere close to the door is a chilly prospect, but overall it is a great place to eat.“
“This place is a must go to. The food is amazing and the beer is great. What sets this place apart is the super pleasant staff. Everyone here has a huge smile on and is super happy to serve. The food was great. Pizza is thin crust and made with fresh ingredients.“
“This place was an unexpected gem! The savory food is delicious and the pies are phenomenal! We got the bbq and steak subs and then we got the strawberry rhubarb and apple crumb and they were all so delicious! Nice guys running the place too. No seating inside, but the outside eating area was so cute. $25 for a canned soda, steak sub, fries and mini pie, which I thought was very reasonable, especially considering the area.“
“We wrapped up Busch Gardens and were absolutely famished! The NCAA Sweet 16 games were on deck, but finding a good family friendly sportsbar in Williamsburg was a but challenging. I honed in on Highway Pizza as it seemed unique with fun decor. Thankfully, it was a great choice! It happened to be bike night so my son enjoyed seeing the bikes outside. Everyone at the establishment was super friendly and helpful. We were immediately seated, and when we asked to put on a hockey game that was on ESPN+, they subscribed to the App so that they could air the game! Now that is customer service! We soon got our drinks and an order of the Speed Bumps (pizza rolls). I highly recommend the Speed Bumps, totally delish! Next we ordered boneless wings with the garlic parmesan and hot buffalo options. Both excellent and cooked perfectly. We went heavy on the wings so we're stuffed after this.If you're in town and want a good sportsbar, look no further than Highway Pizza! Oh, and you have to check out the bathroom.. lol my son got quite a kick out of it!“
“This was a quick service food truck located next to a brewery. They have covered outdoor seating, and it's dog friendly, which is a HUGE plus! Our pup loved getting a treat from the workers and sniffing around while we waited for our food. The only downside was the limited vegetarian options, but we ordered the Gouda Griller, and it was good. Next time, we will have to try the cheese curds.“
“We really enjoyed our Philly Cheese steak, Chicken Piccata and a large salad. We did take out and loved the salad that was very fresh, with optional blue cheese crumbles with balsamic vinegar that we split. The philly was on a fresh bread roll, cheese melted perfectly to the roast beef with fresh lettuce and tomato with onions. Enough for two, in fact it was dinner and lunch. The chicken Piccata was not overly seasoned allowing you to spice it up to your preference and the pasta was well cooked with just the right amount olive oil and lemon. Enough left over for a light dinner adding a hint of pasta. Pizza appears the big seller and it looked and smelled great - almost changed our oder. Seating in the front was appropriate for couples or a small group, a modest number of booths. The rear area and side rooms were more open with tables that were family friendly. We'll be back for pizza next time.“
“A friend has been telling me about this place for quite a while and I finally made it. It was so delicious! I will definitely be making reoccurring trips to partake in this delightful pizza. I love the variety of options and the service staff are great.“
“Start off by noting this pizzeria is halal - which was a pleasant surprise. We plan to return when whenever we are in the area. Especially since it appears to be a family ran business. While we were waiting, we noticed fresh ingredients being brought in. We also noticed a lot of customers coming and going the whole time we were there. It seems like a popular local spot. Even a regular customer came in, and the staff was quick to welcome & tell him "see next time" as he left. They even had his order ready before he even reached the counter. You don't see that kind of service much anymore. The place was very clean and there was a sense of pride among the staff and food.We ordered mozzarella sticks and pizza: half pepperoni half cheese. We were very satisfied with the food. The mozzarella stick came out freshly made & hot. They were crunchy with a side of simple mariana. The pizza was a little greasy but stayed crunchy the entire time. Nicely cooked, not burnt or doughy. Good flavor with sweet sauce and seasoned cheesed. Again, food came out freshly made and hot. The crust was light and crunchy. The pizza reminded us of NY pizza.Definitely was a good choice.Vegetarian options: Any dish without meat, like pizza or fries.Dietary restrictions: Halal - no porkParking: In a shopping plaza so plenty of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp and handicap parking right out front.“
“I was in the Commons as part of a tour for 9th graders from Argentina and New Hampshire. There was an amazing array of all types of food. From oven fire pizza to made to order omelets to a huge salad bar to Brussel sprouts and so much more. Dessert was everything from decadent brownies to fruit to ice cream to cake and more. Our two groups sampled almost everything. All of the offerings were delicious. The servers were all very welcoming and quick. It was very impressive. I'd love to go again.“
“Was in Williamsburgs for a couple of nights. Seen this place on DoorDash but decided to pick up ! I knew the food was going to be good when I seen papers on the counters.. lol it reminded me of being home ❤️. We ordered 40 minutes before they closed and picked it up ! When I say this food was DELICIOUS ! Like we eat In silence that’s how good it was .. will come back next time we are in the area! P.s. pops at the register was nice and the chef that made our meal was welcoming!“
“My service was great! The manager Miss Crystal made my pizza best pizza ever hands down! It wasn't dry as usual, she's very very polite and friendly that's my one and only pizza maker if she's not there next time I won't be ordering.“
“Easy to order. Employees are busy but they pay attention to customers coming in the door. Food was prepared properly and was hot when I got it. Glad we have it here in Lightfoot.Parking: You can pull right up out in front of the restaurant which is only a few steps away.“
“We happened upon this spot because everything else was super crowded. It was busy here too but the bar area was open seating and we quickly snagged 2 spots. We ordered drinks & pizza at the bar. The bartender was very friendly. They accidentally fixed our pizza incorrectly but quickly remade it. They offered us the first pizza for free, so we had a lot of pizza! I recommend the thin crust, it was really good.“
