Food is unbelievably good. Their menu is huge, with lots of Italian specialties, and seafood items. I had the stuffed flounder which was a special the night that we visited. It was terrific. Our party of 14 included six adults, six teenage boys, and two little ones. We had a single waiter manage our entire order, which included multiple separate checks. Best Italian food I’ve ever had in the US, and yes counting St. Louis. If you’re lucky you’ll get waited on by “mamasan” whose amazing service skills are worthy of 35% tip minimum. Dining in you’ll want pasta, pork or steak plus dessert. Get a pizza to go, trust me you’ll want it later and Sals may be closed. You can’t go wrong with this place. We found it on our honeymoon and come back every year we can.
We were in Williamsburg to see the sights and stumbled onto Sal's from their advertisement for the Wine and Dinner Special. Food was excellent and just the right portions and the complimentary bottle of wine was great too. Some, in our party, said the fettucine alfredo was the best they had ever had.
