Large portions of perfectly cooked seafood for a very reasonable cost. We had lunch portions that included the calamari, scallops, shrimp, onion rings, and hush puppy. Items appeared to be hand breaded, and all was fresh. The fried scallops were among the best I've had. Delicate breading, stayed on the scallops without overpowering them. We were in Williamsburg Virginia from out of town. Googled places with fresh fish and Uncle Russ Dockside came up. We are so glad it did. I had blackened salmon cooked to perfection, best onion rings I have ever had. Light, crispy and not a bit of grease and delicious fresh coleslaw. My husband who orders fried flounder usually puts ketchup on his fish because it's never really fresh. He didn't have to put ketchup on his fish tonight. This was my 3rd time here. I tried several different dishes now. Everything has been awesome so far. The service is top notch. The owner is super friendly. Totally recommend this place to eat in or take out. Also will revisit this review as I finally purchased some frozen sausages and seafood to go this time.
