“I went here with my bf for a quick breakfast before we got on the road, and they did not disappoint. I got the traditional eggs benedict, and it had the best hollandaise sauce I ever had! I even decided to substitute my potatoes for fruit, and I am happy I did. The fruit was incredibly fresh and juicy. We will definitely be back.”

“The first time I had eaten there, and when we first showed up, we were told to wait until after 8pm to order food because they were a bit overwhelmed. We really wanted to eat before then, but since we were staying for karaoke, we went with it. I go back up at 8:15 to order some food, and the lady behind the bar gave me this exasperated look and told me they just shut off the fryers. I told her that wasn't my problem because she told me to come back after 8. She held up her end and turned the fryers back on, and made our food. I guess I'm not going to eat there anymore. Love the weekly karaoke, and love the drinks though. It's a nice looking bar.”

This is our go to Chinese place for many years.Vegetarian options: Virtually any dish can be made vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: They will make your food to order.Parking: Shopping plaza plenty of spaces.Kid-friendliness: Well you're usually just waiting for your order, but they have kids and kids are welcome to wait with you.Wheelchair accessibility: It's near a curb cut and a big open parking lot and the entrance is level. Not much room in the waiting area though.”

“Super-fun experience at the culinary experience at the Essex Resort in Essex, VT. Our instructor, Denise, led us through the recipes and techniques to create a wonderful Vermont dinner that included roasted root vegetables, braised chicken (in dark beer and demi-glacé) with shallots and a variety of mushrooms, and a lovely kale salad. We were given the opportunity to decorate autumn themed sugar cookies as well as dip tiny apples into a luscious caramel coating. A small group of 9 students made the experience very intimate. Our meal was served with wine and fresh bread accompanied by an herbed compound butter. Denise was a perfect instructor and I would recommend the experience to anyone who loves to cook.”

“Perhaps too little, too late but it will forever be a sad spot for me and my family that we didn't discover this amazing Essex gem sooner when we moved here and can't continue to have many meals here as a family. “I've been going to Hop Sing for what must be 10+years, after a coworker was reheating some leftovers that looked and smelled amazing. I was not disappointed and haven't been since. They make most of their food in house and it shows. There are few things on the menu that I prefer elsewhere. Their fried rice isn't too heavy, their chicken is almost always tender, their dumplings and crab rangoon are savory, and on and on. We've tried almost everything on the menu and every time we try another place we end up back here, even though we drive by at least a few other places on our way since moving out of the neighborhood shortly after our first trip there. There is one person who can be a bit rushed (though not rude) on the phone, but with online ordering for some time now, we often go that route.”

“We threw a surprise 30th birthday party here. Anita helped us plan the whole thing, she was available for any question we had and had great suggestions along the way. Lilly was our waitress and killed it with service! Very quick and always with a smile. And of course great music! Definitely would recommend planning a party here.”

“I love the Caramel frapp there but I can't always get it which is upsetting because I go mainly for that and I like the crispy chicken sandwich but it sometimes has a bad texture and I can't eat it. Sometimes it's very good and sometimes it's not very good.Parking: Their breakfast is usually always good and I like most items”
