I finally stopped in here for a sandwich and instantly knew it would be good (I recently moved here from north jersey where they know a thing or 2 about good delis). There was a long line but it moved very quickly. (In my opinion a long line is a sign the place is good). Decided to give it another go as this was my first love of a sandwich. The staff were absolutely phenomenal, they were friendly with warm smiles across the counter from start to finish and as usual in the middle of a chaotic entryway, the staff was diligent, efficient and polite while greeting everyone at the door. Best Grinders in the world, and I’ve been around at 92. Recently changed hands, better telephone service. Lived nearby for 11 years, now many hours away, but worth the trip, especially after a day of traveling home to take a well wrapped large Italian hot grinder out of the cooler and feast. Stays fresh and tasty.
