“Gills deli was a great place to eat. I had a large roast beef and it was delicious. The meat and vegetables were fresh. If I had Gills back in Texas I would eat there every day. The young lady helping me said she had been there a couple of years but she was a veteran pro. She was helpful and had a great personality. It's a hole in the wall but that's usually where I find my favorite eating places. If your ever in Rutland Vermont stop and pick up a sandwich. I promise you won't be disappointed.“

“I got my dinner on December 9th at about 5:15 and the young man and young lady who were working there deserve a raise. They were pleasant, friendly and had smiles on their faces the whole time. Guy cooking was fantastic, friendly and kind, great with the kids and their weird requests.He made it much more fun for them!I got the roast beef cheddar melt and it was fantastic! Big enough for 2 meals for me and he even wrapped it up for me rather than just handing me a box.Keep in mind fries are not on the menu. Breakfast served all day!Street parking right out front.Limited but sufficient seating indoors.“
