Not only is the ice cream fantastic , the staff and owner are so friendly and just amazing!! The location is a gem not far off your traveled path , we drive every year from Glens Falls NY about 2.5 hours each way but- a beautiful scenic ride! From - Plattsburgh, Burlington , Canada!! It's just a short drive away and you can experience this delightful ice cream cone. You will not be disappointed. Cash only, super reasonable prices, adorable little country store shop. Top notch treats and ice cream. If you love maple you've gotta get here!”

“Best pizza in my sphere of food options and rivals NYC pizza where I lived for almost a decade. Now I live on the edge of America near the Canadian border. It's about 30 minutes from my home so I usually only order from this establishment when I'll be passing by on my way home from civilization. There are 3 option for pizza within 5 minutes of my home but I wait to get pizza until I can pick one up from here. If you take out, a bonus is they poke vent holes in the pizza box so the pizza breathes and doesn't get soggy before you get it home. Smart packaging!Having preficed this review with those facts this is THE best pizza within 50 miles of my home. My preference is the chicken cordon bleu pizza but myself and my BF have tried the meat pizza as well. Both are great. Looking forward to expanding my sampling of their menu when I have more eating out funds in my budget. The prices are very reasonable, I'm just belt tightening and live to far away to eat here more often.Highly recommend trying them if you are the area. It's well worth it. The staff are all very nice.FYI, cash prices are discounted so if you place a large order consider paying cash for the best pricing.Enjoy!”

“We received the best service of any Subway at this location. Impeccable management here. Food was fresh, the staff listened intently and made sure we received everything we asked for. While we were eating, the staff asked if everything met expectation. This team could be the model of how every team should operate. “Red House Sweets and Catalyst Coffee Bar are by far the ultimate combo - if you’re looking for some of the BEST pastries you have ever tasted as well as the best coffee anywhere in this whole area of Vermont, look no further!! Both places share the same space with separate counters, and you’re going to want to get things from both. Red House Sweets has an amazing selection of pastries and desserts, and many gluten-free options as well! I absolutely love the orange cardamom croissant - I don’t know what they do to make it, but it’s definitely in the top 5 best single pastries I have ever had in my whole life. I also love their kouign-amann as well!! These are both must-trys if you’re looking for something sweet. Honestly though, everything looks incredible. All the croissants, the focaccia, cakes, tarts, and so on would be so worth trying. I guess I gotta keep coming back to try it all!! Also, I want to give a special nod to the person working behind the counter. She was so upbeat and friendly and made the vibe of the place so much better. This place really is something special and I highly recommend visiting next time you’re in St. Albans!!!”

“We've been here twice now. Each time was delicious! Bacon wrapped scallops are amazing and melt in your mouth. Baked haddock for lunch is sublime and also melts in your mouth. Fried fish burger is my teenage son's preferred dish and says he it's the best he's ever had. My daughter who is 12 (and adores seafood) loves the fried scallops and grilled salmon. Creme Brulee is my go-to desert and is fantastic.Service is attentive, quick and friendly. Do make a reservation to ensure a spot for lunch as it does get busy during the weekdays that they are open. Probably the best restaurant in town. We are making it a point to include eating here on our travels into Vermont from Montreal when we can.”

“I try to stop at least twice a week. Pricing is on par, The deli is the main reason to check it out. Best sandwichs in Franklin county, if not Vermont. The portions are very large, the staff is super friendly. Amazing local products. And always remember to stop at the bakery for the best sweets around. “I gave them a 5 star because I had no choice or excuse!! They are awesome appointment 15:00 arrived at 13:00 given a door right away and started working on me . Very clean, very fast, very professional!! They don’t have parking but I don’t care because already they have done everything perfect meaning if they had enough space parking on their facility wouldn’t have been an issue to them. I wish i work here or deliver here everyday.”

“Went for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised! We called a few times to order takeout but they didn’t answer so we ended up just driving over and placing the order there. It took quite awhile for it to be ready but it was a larger order. We got 2 orders of onion strings, the mozzarella logs, sweet onion dip, spicy honey wings, a 6in pepperoni pizza, and a 12in Taphouse pizza. The pizzas could’ve been cooked for a bit longer but the crust and sauce had really good flavor. The onion strings were fantastic! The mozzarella logs were also great, you could tell they were homemade, not frozen. The wings were good but we felt they would be better heated up a second time and cooked a bit longer. The sweet onion dip was a star, we couldn’t stop eating it! It was $80 for our order, which was a lot, but in this day and age we felt was fairly reasonable. We’ll definitely be back for a second time!”

“We got takeout here over the weekend. The price was quite good. The mu shu vegetables and the vegetable rice were surprisingly bland. The cheese raggoons were good. The spring roll was as to be expected. The dumplings were really quite good. The tempura cheesecake was good but heavy as I would expect. The tempura vegetables were good as were the sweet potato and vegetarian California roll sushi that we got. The seaweed salad was also quite good.”

“In had a great visit. Many reviews seem to focus on the food. I tend to pay more attention to the ambiance. Nelly’s is the best neighborhood bar I’ve been to. Lots of patrons. Many seem to know each other, leading to lively banter at the bar.I had so much fun soaking it all in, I stayed for an extra Bud!Ordered a cheeseburger and fries. It was generous in size and tasted great.Highly recommended!Parking: This is an urban location, so parking can be challenging. On street parking is 2 hours, but I think it’s free after hours. In the early evening when I went, there was plenty of parking.”

“What a fun place! The speakeasy entrance is so cool and I love the dim-lighting, cozy vibe of the establishment. You can't go wrong eating here. It has the same great menu, food, and drink offerings as Twiggs next door (they are both connected and under the same ownership), but The Clothier is often not as busy and it has different music and a more relaxed atmosphere. There's a free pool table and darts in the back room. The service and food was always A+. I wish I didn't live 8 hours away from this place, otherwise I would be a frequent patron.”
