“The food here was delicious. Loved the Khao Soi and Som Tam. Khao Soi isn't a dish you see on a menu too often so I was excited to have a local place serve it. The presentation was also beautiful. Good service even though they were very busy.“
“I’ve been coming here for years. I’ve tried many other Thai places across the country and this one is way up there on my list. The food is consistently great and the owner is very friendly and personable. The building is a little tired but that’s not a big deal.“
“First time here and I have to say it’s delightful and delicious. Came on a whim because the buddies wanted some Thai food and settled.Nice food selection and the establishment is nice and cozy. Food and Service is top notch. The crispy pork belly is awesome and the Thai red curry spot on.If you ever in the area and feeling a little hungry, give these guys a shot I promise you that you will not regret it …“
“Went out for a bite with a good friend. Food and service were superb, despite their being busy with many take-out orders. We accidentally stayed to closing, and they were very gracious when they reminded us of the time. We'll be back, for sure.“
“I came to the restaurant and had the chicken pho soup to go. It was excellent. It had a dark, rich beef broth. It's nice they give you the choice of having your soup with chicken or beef broth. I appreciated the noodles were a little hardier than some of the other pho restaurants. The chicken was all breast meat. I had extra vegetables with it which were steamed to be easier to eat.The pricing was on the low side. The service and food prep was fast. The restaurant doesn't have a lot of atmosphere, but that's common among Vietnamese restaurants, and often the best ones.“
“Saw that this was the best rated Thai food on Grubhub (or at least the best rated restaurant with the word "Thai" somewhere on the menu - a few non-Thai places came up, too). Also the prices were reasonable (something to consider when using Grubhub is going to add about $30 to what it would cost you if you dined on site. Ordered the curry fried rice, garlic onion chicken and beef, partial potsticker order, and fried chicken wings. Asked that everything be "not spicy." There is always a chance with Thai food that even the mildest setting will still be spicy and that was the case with the curry fried rice. I thought both the fried rice and the fried chicken were a bit overly dry; the spouse enjoyed everything with no complaints whatsoever. Suggest a slightly bigger container to deliver the chicken, as it was partially open and taped shut; also suggest a slightly larger white rice portion.“
“We decided to try Saya based on good reviews. We were not disappointed. It’s casual restaurant with Thai/Teriyaki/Pho. There’s no fancy decorations. Just straight forward food and service. We aimed for Thai this time. The pad Thai was decent. We enjoyed the green curry as well. The amount of rice which comes with the order was not much. Wish a bigger rice bowl is offered. The service was very courteous and friendly. We appreciate their flexibility to substitute certain ingredients.“
“I have only ordered take out twice from here so far, but have been very impressed with how quick and delicious the food is! I ordered on GrubHub first and got their Pad Kee Mao with 2 stars spice level to test out how well they cook one of my favorite noodle dishes. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of vegetables and meat to noodle ratio and they definitely made sure to accommodate the spice level as well! I chose pork for my protein option and it was tender and cooked perfectly. My mom took a bite too and said it was pretty good. The second time I ordered was through DoorDash and I got the Kao Mun Gai (or Hainanese chicken and rice). Again, I received a perfection balance of chicken, rice, sauce, cucumbers and soup to enjoy a great meal. The chicken was super tender and it was heavenly paired with the soybean ginger sauce that had fresh chilis that added a pleasant kick to the meal. I never had Kao Mun Gai that had chilis so just be wary for those who can't handle spicy. I am looking forward to hopefully dine in the future as the food from takeout has been pretty phenomenal! I also see that many reviewers mentioned that they are pretty accurate with the spice levels so I will take it up a notch for my next order as I love spicy Thai food. Definitely worth ordering from whether you are dining in or doing take out!“
“The pad Thai was really good, I got it with tofu. It was expensive but I was able to make 2 meals out of it because the portions were generous. Very good Thai , I ordered delivery so I don’t know how the atmosphere is but I would order it again. I should also mention it was a fast delivery.“
“I love all the food!!! The sweet chili is my favorite and i highly recommend it, it was fresh and hot and tastes delicious every time without fail! The service is also amazing and everyone is really nice!Vegetarian options: Variety of vegetarian options“
“We found this gem by accident, and I’m so glad we did. Very small, cozy restaurant with excellent service and amazing Thai food. Not expensive and you can taste the real taste of Thai cuisine. We ordered crispy garlic chicken, Thai soup and duck curry. Everything was really good. One thing I would like to suggest is that they put too much lemon grass ( small pieces, that are actually sharp) were very hard to chew and parts of kefir lime leaves that they can’t be swallowed.Taste of the soup though was wonderful, veggies and seafood were fresh and crunchy!Duck curry was so delicious, especially pineapple pieces- so juicy and sweet.Thai tea was one of the best I drank in Washington! We will definitely come back! If you are in Kent and like Thai food this place is for you!Kid-friendliness: It’s very small restaurant, but clean and definitely family friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: No wheelchair accessibility“
“Food is delicious! Ordered Crispy duck curry, drunken noodles and crab fried rice. Everything was perfect and spiced to perfection. Very reasonably priced and it is a very clean kitchen. So much yummy food to take home, will eat here again soon!“
“We ordered the fried chicken, phad see ew beef and yellow curry! Everything came out fresh and hot! You will have to order rice on the side it doesn't come included. We came at lunch time and it was pretty decent pricing. Portions are ok for the pricing. The server was nice, our food arrived fairly quick.“
“Lived here 8 years, but first time I've eaten there. The food was AWESOME, but I've never felt more neglected. The staff ignored us more than highschool senior cheerleader when I was a freshman. You'd thought they'd owed me money the way they didn't come to our table... I'm thinking it's best to keep this place a to-go only restaurant, but I will continue to eat there. ??“
“Friendly service, delicious food, and good price quality. The dining area and restroom are all nicely decorated, with bright colors and modern tiles. We ordered a soup and a noodle dish, and both are great! We'll come back to try other dishes.Vegetarian options: Tofu“
“This is our go to Thai restaurant. We're very lucky to live so close. We love to dine in or take out. They haven't had an actual bar in a long time, I think something mentions their liquor license. Somehow we've been many times when it's not busy, which shocks me since we love their food. The staff is friendly and restaurant is clean. We have kids so don't order spicy items, our go to our chicken pad Thai, Panag curry and all the apps!“
“This was a different restaurant before and the current restaurant relocated here about 6 months ago when we visited.Never really had Laotian food before, so we wanted to try them out. Everything on the menu sounded great, but we went just a bit out of our norm to get the full experience.Ordered the Kao Pon (chicken and pork coconut curry broth noodles), Lao pork sausage, spring rolls, and the shrimp fried rice. The Kao Pon was an automatic spicy level 2, so it might not be for everyone. We find it mild and love the flavor of the broth. Noodles were soft and soaked in the wonderful aroma and flavor from the broth. Chicken pieces in the broth were juicy and tender. The sausage had small chunks of pork, and I love the fresh chili dipping sauce, but again, it can be too spicy for some. The fried rice was great. It's pepper, and there were 6 huge shrimps! Spring tolls were fresh. We will be coming back to try out other dishes.“
“This is hands down the best place to find amazing, consistent service and food! It's very intimate and just can't get enough of being in a welcoming and peaceful place to enjoy company and great food?Vegetarian options: Sky is the limit when it comes to vegetarian options. If meat needs to be omitted from any dish, they are able to accommodate. I absolutely love this place! I have been coming for years in which the service, the quality, the quantity of food has been nothing but consistent and amazing! I continue to come here atleast 1 or 2 times a week?Parking: There are more than enough free parking spaces to suffice ileven if the restaurant was at capacity!Kid-friendliness: This restaurant is kid friendly and spacious if kids would need to have activities to keep them occupied.“
“Food is excellent, service is usually pretty quick. The shrimp spring rolls are VERY good. Little surprised to see them turn people away at after 830 on a Saturday night. I worked in the industry for many years, this is just bad business.Other than that, pretty good!“
“The food was excellent, and I appreciated the water didn't taste like tap water. I was really impressed with the staff, they were very accommodating and pleasant when we wanted to change to a corner booth. Very nice place to eat, thank you!“
“It's a little crack in the wall restaurant, but when you find it, it's a treat. The food is tasty, and the portions are generous. The spice levels are mean, so a level 3 spice will get you far. The staff are sweet, and easy to reach. Honestly wish I found this place sooner.“
“Great food! The salad rolls (or veggie, summer, fresh rolls… whatever you may call them), were delightful! I’d love it if they would offer them with tofu.As recommended, we tried heat 1 and heat 3 and we found them to be too mild. Obviously, everyone restaurant has their own scale. Knowing this next time I will order a 4 or 5. Just keep in mind 1 is basically 0 (or less). We has the fried tofu, salad rolls, pad thai, and masuman curry. Everything was good, but on the sweeter side.Service was great! Atmosphere is beautiful! It’s a great place and we’ll be back!“
“Absolutely amazing. My restaurant of choice every time. It's awesome cause it's in the store cluster, so I can convince anyone to go here because not only is it convenient, but because the amount of food is equal to what you pay. No scrawny portions. No downsides here, especially if you live close.“
“Great Thai spot, we get takeout from here all the time. The rice dishes, noodles, and curry are all excellent. Haven't had a single dish here I didn't enjoy. The portions are pretty large, too, so the prices are quite reasonable for the amount of food.“
“I love this place! Always consistent and delicious. It's a treat I make sure I can get often. The service and speediness is always on point. I've been coming here for 8 years and always enjoy talking with the owner. Hands down a favorite place. All items in the menu are spectacular. Check it out for yourself!“
“My favorite Thai restaurant in the area. The staff is always very helpful. And the food is good. They always have nice calm piano music playing in the background. I dislike that the chairs move around when people sit in them on the other side. Other than that everything's great.“
“First time came in Teak house at Sun night around 6pm with my hubby. There were no customers in the restaurant, but a woman showed us to a table. First I ordered hot tea. The tea came in a pot, so I was able to drink plenty of it. After that we ordered Teak house noodle and Crispy garlic chicken. Another group of customers took their seats. Several customers came for takeout. The Crispy garlic chicken we ordered was well seasoned and delicious. I also liked the Teak house noodle because it tasted good. The woman at the restaurant was prompt and had very good service. We would like to come again“
“I love this spot it's always clean it's quite vibes are super chill and laid back the woman and the young lady's who work front counter have great customer service and plug you with great size portions of food for a great price best in Washington besides grandma girls in Kent...if you can always tip I faithfully come here“
“This is the best Thai food we've had in town, I highly recommend it! Service was friendly, personable & so fast. The restaurant being in a house made it feel like a cute date night spot. We had the Penang curry (to die for), spicy pineapple curry (also delicious), mango sticky rice (perfect) & the best Thai iced tea. We will be back!“
“Great food! Loved the Yellow Curry and the Princes Snow Peas with beef. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. For such a small place it was extremely busy and everyone was ordering wonderful dishes. I just had more time to try more of them. Definitely going back!“
“This was our first time here. The service was nice. It is sort of open kitchen where your order is placed and paid first. Environment was clean. Fried wings were perfection. I enjoyed the chicken fried rice and my daughter yellow curry. The serving of fried rice I felt was kind of small but it was delicious.“
“My coworkers and I were in town for business. We generally like to find local places to support when we travel, and I’m glad we found this place. We liked trying a few new items we had never seen and some classics like pad Thai. Everything was delicious. If we’re in the area again, we definitely want to come back, but I also wanted to leave a good review to encourage others to try them. The owner was in the dining room and you can really tell how much passion and love he has for food.“
