Great BBQ, big portions and one of the few places you can find corn on the cob, my Mom’s favorite. Friendly and helpful. Very clean and good bathrooms too!

I can't say enough good things about this piece. It is by far the best kept secret in BBQ, and Bellevue's hidden ⭐ . Come here and eat everything.

We got our food to go, and the person taking our order was extremely knowledgeable about all of the food options, combinations, and gluten and dairy content. So we were able to make the best choices for us. The chicken was very good and the sauce took it to the next level. The ribs didn't need the sauce to make it tasty and I say that because my husband says that truly good barbecue doesn't need sauce because it can stand on its own. For the sides, I ordered corn on the cob, which was just OK. It didn't have a lot of flavor, although it seemed to have butter on it. It seemed to be a little waterlogged. I also ordered the coleslaw. Once I added some salt, it was very good. Coleslaw is always very unique at all these different places. When we arrived, there was a couple sitting outside eating their lunch and they went out of their way to come in and tell the person at the front how much they enjoyed their meal before they left. While we were waiting, another gentleman came in and ordered and was very excited to get his food , telling the person taking his order that he absolutely loves the food at this place So based on all that, you should check it out

Nice place, with good food and great service. If you're hungry order double since the sandwich is everything but big.

The brisket was quite dry, lacked flavor, and wasn't tender. The cornbread wasn't very moist either. The mac & cheese might have been the best thing there, but it wasn't great. The staff were professional, but not very friendly. At least the restaurant itself was fairly clean.

Beef bbq ribs can be a little bit hard to find, and this place does a quality job on them! Quite a nice atmosphere with lots of local sports memorabilia and more. Overall really great experience and looking forward to next time.

I honestly was looking for something delicious to eat. I am disappointed the food was dry and cold, with no flavor, bad food, and service, I had the pork sandwich with a side of coslaw, the worst place to eat. I just hope I don't get sick. I should have eaten my granola bar instead. Save your money go elsewhere.

I don't usually write negative reviews, rather I just vote with my feet. (I just stop going.) I have quite enjoyed this place in the past, in spite of the higher prices. I assume the prices are high due to the location. I hadn't been in a long time, and was craving BBQ.. I got a pulled pork sandwich and two sides for takeout yesterday for $24. The sandwich was okay, not great not bad. I remembered it as having better flavor. My extremely overpriced sides (coleslaw and baked beans) were $4.75 each a la carte, although one was slightly discounted -priced as a side with with a sandwich. The servings on the side are quite small individual servings, definitely not shareable. Thinking about, I would probably give a three star, if not for the overpriced bad sides. Both sides were subpar. The coleslaw had an off taste, although it was appetizing looking and colorful. Just no good flavor. The beans were very soupy with no special flavor. i was hungry, so I ate half the sandwich and a just a couple bites of each side. Disappointing.

pulled pork is dry and flavorless. 1/4 chicken leg is beyond dry and also flavorless, the leg was so dry infact it felt like it sapped moisture out of my mouth. also doesnt help that the only hint of flavor was from the smoke, and it wasnt strong at all. no salt no other seasons of any kind. overall everything was dry and flavorless. and i would never pay more than 8 dollars for a sandwich like this. no thank you

I really hate writing this review. Western Washington needs great BBQ! Normally when I feel like a business isn't very good I'm happy to write a poor review. This business I really wanted to excel and grow. I met the owner at one point and this just doesn't feel like what he had in mind. Today was it for me. I'm done here. I ordered a pound of beef ribs for almost $30! What I got was mostly inedible bone. If I estimated how much meat I received, I'd say about 4 oz. This has happened multiple times now. They are grossly overpriced for what you get. Someone could do something great and charge a normal price and they would kill it. Bellevue and the Eastside are not very good when it comes to mom and pop eateries. We talk about it all the time. So bummed that this place has become overpriced and underwhelming. Sad.

They don't have a meat sampler plate. In a bbq joint, no sampler plate. Thats a first for me. The food is under seasoned. The pulled pork and the brisket both over cooked. Muchly over cooked. The ham tasted like ham, any ham. The service seemed lack luster, not bad, just kind of unfocused. The potato salad had mostly the right ingredients, but the potatoes were a little under done and toothy, also lacked seasoning. The hot bbq sauce is what you might expect from a commercial bottle, no complaints other than it was more of a medium heat rather than hot. Restaurant itself looked clean and presented a neat appearance, chairs were comfy and full marks for the store front.

So, I hate giving reviews like this, but wow this was not good. Let me give you the right picture. We walk and the guy at the front is monotone and sad, and incredibly unhelpful with out questions. The food is very pricey, perhaps because they are across from a hospital/medical center? It smells good when you walk in, but the food somehow doesn't back that up. The brisket is dry, even the bbq sauce didn't assist there. The potato salad had a good flavor, but the potatoes had barely been cooked so they were crunchy, which was odd. Really the only positive is the medium bbq sauce was tasty, little thin, but tasty. Definitely would not recommend.
