I walked in here in September 1982 thinking my shattered life of 15 years was over. Hazel who ran the cafe, a gruff but loving lady made me sit down and have a sandwich and milk. Very cute and very cozy. Small seating area. Ran by the local AA chapter. Not what we were expecting but the gentleman running the counter was very sweet and very welcoming. Not exactly how I planned to spend my 21st birthday morning but very pleasantly surprised.
